Gibbs White and Wharton are the only ones I think could feel somewhat hard done by.
If it came down to Mainoo or Wharton, I would probably have gone Wharton but I don’t think there is too much in it.
Roger’s or MGW - I feel like MGW is in better form, but Roger’s is quality, so again fuck all in it.

Hardly surprising. There are only 5 English players in our squad of 28. One is injured, another has just returned from a long term injury, another has never played for the senior team. That leaves only Gallagher and Spence.

Dan Burn's actually been pretty decent for England when he's played and can also cover at full-back. Slabhead's fine but he's hardly a big miss. I certainly wouldn't be starting him so makes sense for a back-up to be versatile imo. Can always throw Burn on at LB late in the game to cause chaos in the box if we need a plan B.
The one I'm more surprised at is Quansah, although I guess he's in for the same reason as he can cover at RB?

Qaunsah has been excellent in Germany. I’d take him over Konate who starts at Liverpool in a heartbeat.

I think he will spend one more season in Germany and then will be signed by one of the big clubs in England for big money. I’m pretty sure Liverpool have some sort of clause in the original deal that gives them first choice to re-sign him.
Yeah they're a bit of a basketcase with some shocking results in qualifying. Quarter finals at best I reckon.

There’s a handful better than theirs and it’s not like they have some wonderful squad harmony, the results have been poor in general.
