I have convinced myself that tomorrow is the start of something positive either way.

Stay up - De Zerbi has a full summer to work his magic. The board realizes how shit things were and the new DoF helps build a better squad with De Zerbi.

Relegated - Finally forced to rebuild the squad and sell the same dead weight we have been watching for years. Getting out of the Prem and their VAR nonsense while also having a year away from having to listen to the media praise Woolwich.

Whoever scores first tomorrow will set the tempo and control the mood. If we go up early, the confidence and crowd will be crazy. If we go behind, our players tend to fold.

"It means Tottenham are heading for a difficult summer to stay in line with Premier League financial rules."

You can forget about your big rebuild, pal.

Regardless of whether there's a bus parade 2 hours before, or everyone singing on the concourse 45 minutes before, it's the noise and atmosphere created INSIDE THE STADIUM BOWL from 3.45 until 5.45 is key...
Not dribs and drabs shuffling in with 5 minutes to go, or drifting out on 35/40 minutes.... STAY FOR THE DURATION...
SING, SCREAM SHOUT AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS THROUGHOUT!

that's what's gonna help create an atmosphere that can drag us through this...
The players need to know we're supporting them regardless of evolving moments throughout the game, just as much as WE need to trust them to do what needs to be done ON the pitch for the whole 90+ minutes, and not let concentration drop for a single minute...

WE can't play in the match, same as the players can't sing "Oh When the Spurs" during the game, that's not their job, it's Ours!

Everyone do their jobs, and we'll be fine!

I know how you are all feeling and after going through one of these last day nightmares 3 or 4 times I wouldnt wish it on anyone.
We had most of the country wanting us to get relegated but somehow we managed to pull through as I think you will on Sunday.
If we play anything like we did against Sunderland where we were already on the beach i dont think you will have a problem , I dont think you will need a result as Leeds will beat West Ham .
Your biggest worry is players hiding on the day , the pressure will be immense but the rewards are a high probably bigger than winning a trophy.
May the best team win
What a lovely post. Someone who understands the agony.Thank you for that.
I've had a few idiots (including my own brother (armchair supporter)), who have suggested it's better to have something to play for, rather than a dead rubber. I wish I was on the beach rather than feeling sick to the stomach for the last few months!
Always had a bit of a soft spot for Everton, similar to us, not much success whilst our horrible red neighbours have done so much better than us.
