Yeah, not sure why that's deemed an odd position to take. If anything the bending over to defend Romero is the far weirder take given how he's acted across the season as a whole.
I'm glad he's decided to come back. If he hadn't then he'd basically be dead to me as a Spurs player, but he's at least realised he screwed up and taken action even if he was pressured into it.
Personally I'm still sick of his shit and think we should move him on but if he's still here next season and RDZ wants him I'm not gonna have an agenda against the guy if he gets his head down and stops being a dick. Like most fans, I just want whats best for the club and a captain who acts like a captain.
