I watched him away at city when we qualified for the champions league for the first time and its the BEST performance by a centerback ive seen. He made Vincent Kompany look ordinary that night. The next best performance from a centerback was King against France for England. He was utterly impeccable and looked the best player on that pitch.

Yes I remember the France game. Him and I hate to say it, Campbell , were imperious with King the better of the two.
Criminal we lost the game to two goals in injury time after two brain farts especially against the quality of opposition they were facing.

I think he's a quality player but has been a bit of a shitshow at Spurs, he's let himself on many occasions since he's been here.

Reckon wherever he goes there's gonna be people questioning why he didn't produce the same kind of form for us.
