Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm a paid up member of second chances but I think Greenwood would be a huge mistake because it's just negative noises around the club, more than anything else.

And hypocrisy is rampant but nonetheless, let's not create waves that can easily be avoided.
Greenwood would essentially guarantee the worst PR ever and protests, women’s team boycotting, etc etc. He is not happening.
The more I think about it, the more it wouldn’t surprise me if we went quietly cautious about this summer and added Darlow, Senesi, Robertson, Palhinha, then invest the majority of our money in Scott and Parrott.

We can let Vicario, Romero, Dragusin, Davies, Bissouma, Muani and Richy leave.

Would give us a pretty balanced squad for a smaller season with Odobert, Xavi, and Deki to come in as reinforcements whenever they are fit.

Kinsky, Darlow, Austin

Porro, Spence, Vuskovic, Danso, VDV, Senesi, Robertson, Udogie

Palhinha, Gray, Bergvall, Scott, Bentancur, Gallagher

Tel, Kudus, Maddison, Moore

Solanke, Parrott
Couldn’t get enough of this year’s relegation battle so you’re in the mood for another eh?

Funny you say that. Apparently Deco really rates him and Barca want him. Maybe you should think before talking nonsense. :) And Senesi's stats this season have been better than anything Romero has delivered in the PL since he's been here. You can overrate Romero all you want, I don't see any of this fictional bullshit about Real Madrid or Barca wanting Romero. Meanwhile in the real world, Senesi is a better PL CB and is actually wanted by Barca.

You don't need to get all offended and weird. The internet is a funny place but you can talk to me normally.

If you want facts only then here is a fact:

Senesi is 29 years old and has 3 caps for Argentina.
Romero is 28 years old and has 49 caps for Argentina.

Marmoush would be the dream signing this window, but can’t see it in our current guise.

He’d easily be De Zerbi’s Spurs version of Mitoma and Greenwood.
I wouldn't be surprised if we did raid City for some of their fringe players.

Savinho, Marmoush and Nico Gonzalez are all profiles that De Zerbi would love at spurs and probably 3 players that would walk into our first team.

Ive not followed European football much at all this season so am low on suggestions for players that have progressed through.

If we say for a moment that with senesi and Robertson our defence is patched up then id be happy with....

Senesi
Robertson

Scott

Marmoush (diomande, yildiz, barcola unlikely)

A ST

A three behind a decent number nine of Marmoush, Maddison and Kudus would just be a different stratosphere compared to what we’ve been served up this last 2 years.

Fingers crossed, but can’t see it. Unless we get Mido on the case. 🫣

If we’d been relegated yesterday we’d have very easily done 10/15 in out.

Easily?

.....Doing a forced, wholesale downgrade of the squad?

Losing a bunch of our best players against our will?

Replenished with academy, kids and a bunch of players numerous levels lower than whom you obviously aspire for us to sign for the EPL now we've survived?

You've not proved a point here. You're just highlighting why it was dumb for so many people actively welcoming relegation to kickstart a rebuild.

Come on Fixxy, to dare is to do and all that.

We can absolutely replace that front line. Three home wins. As de Zerbi said - ‘unacceptable’.

Again; where have I said, don't replace the front line?

What are we even doing here?

Soured on Savinho honestly… he was complete shite for City this season and has almost no goal threat. I know he’s still an upgrade on our wingers because they’re all so bad, but I wouldn’t want to pay the big fee rumoured last summer on him.

If he can come in and help establish a new dressing room culture while spelling Udogie, he'll be a great transfer. He won't be expected to start 30+ matches.

So you wanna have to buy 2 LBs then?

Cranston Cranston

Here is what underlines my point.

Common calls for 2 new STs, 2 new LBs, sell both or Porro and Spence, Tel and Odobert yadda.

We more than have enough essential business to take care of.

I agree, wanted him badly last summer. Pep kills most wingers unless they can adapt to hus style.

Saying that I still think he will end up going somewhere and flourishing into a top player

City paid about £30m for him, and he’s flopped, I don’t know what world they’re in thinking they should be getting £50m for him. They should be getting no more than £20-25m for him, that’s what happens when players flop.

If he was in that price range I’d take the gamble in the hope he comes good, but it’d be as an option out wide, we’d still need an undisputed first choice out wide, you can’t trust a guy with Savinho’s stats as your number 1 there.

He's a free agent and we are the only club willing to offer him 180k a week. His dream isn't to play for Spurs. He's coming because we are paying the most. Same as Robertson. Liverpool offered him an extension but we offered more.

Lets just be realistic here. Senesi isn't as good as VDV. He has a higher floor than Romero but Romero on his day is a better player. I'm so sick of Romero that I'd prefer a consistent Senesi at this stage, but its not this "clear upgrade" that people are making it out to be. He's effectively a squad player until we sell Romero
Source? I only ask because Crook stated on air this fine morn that Liverpoo didn't offer him anything.

No way are we signing Osimhen. He's on like 300-400k or something utterly absurd cos of the turkish tax laws. And Barcola will have his pick of clubs.
Osimhen isn't impossible, but we'd have to pay him at least £250k a week and then convince him to not play in Europe for a year while we rebuild next year. I don't think he's going anywhere except a Barcelona or PSG because he's making bank in Turkey.
