Ah look a player has been poor for 2 seasons..Dr Tottenham will come see you with a 60m bid.

Can't wait for the "wtf did we spend 60m on him" that will inevitably happen after his 2nd game.

Are we mentally ok??? Like for real???
 
If Savinho comes alongisde a goalscoring wide player then ive got no issue with it. Probably a bit underrated on here at this point, touchline winger who immediately improves the technical level in this team.

He should no way be our only wide player we bring in though and obviously has to be significantly cheaper than we were being quoted last summer.
 
Need an elite midfielder who can break lines and actually progress the ball up the pitch. Our current midfield is full of a much of muchness, no game breakers.

I agree. But there a reason why city wanted to keep him, despite being seemingly poor. Sometimes its simply the environment they are in. Can't be easy finding a place as a young attacker at city when they are always getting new shiny toys. City also do not lend themselves well to the style of play thats suits him with everything always so condensed.

It won't be popular if it happens but in RDZ I trust.

Yeah tbh I'm pretty much cool with whoever we sign this summer (except Greenwood) if De Zerbi wants them and they're not just "club signings". It's about time we properly backed a manager.

Like if De Zerbi genuinely wants Savinho and it's not purely some Lange bollocks then go for it.

Funny how fans who were desperate for Savinho last summer are now turning their noses up at him.

Who are the mythical left wingers out there who we can sign who will guarantee double digit goals and assists?

We wouldn’t be signing him if De Zerbi didn’t want him. Maybe just maybe, Savinho is a highly rated player who pretty much any manager, whether that’s RDZ or Frank before him, would want to sign and have in their squad.
 
Im sure the club would have talked about the players that they have done significant work on bringing to the club to RDZ and had the conversation.
It doesnt mean he is the only player, even if the links are true.

Assume you are talking about Savinho here. If so, I agree... this is so stupid it would only be considered ambition by us. Pay 60m for a guy who is best known for keeping the bench warm. 7 starts in the PL this season, 1 assist and 1 goal. If he was called Smith nobody would be interested.
