Ended up working out better for Palace getting demoted to the Conference League, get another trophy and then the Europa League next season when Villas not in it.
“Incredible scenes on the pitch right now. These Palace players are in sheer disbelief but they are now champions of Europe!”
From BBC. Is this a modern thing? The champions of Europe are the team who win the CL.
This competitions been around for all of 2 mins and the final was Palace-Rayo Vallecano FFS.
After all that, Palace better off getting bumped from the Europa.
I know people take the mick, but I’m a big fan of these minor European trophies. I’d even expand it and make the Europa a more difficult task and all CL teams drop down. Then perhaps add in another trophy below conference.

If we have enough of a bounce back next season to qualify for the 27-28 conference then we should definitely go in with the goal to win it. We're a big club but not so big that we can turn our noses up at any trophy. And we have unfinished business after getting kicked out due to covid in the first edition. After all that, Palace better off getting bumped from the Europa.

Ooph didn't realise those clubs finished in the Europa positions. Some fun matches for them though.Doesnt look like it will be the cake-walk in the Europa next season for English teams
Bayern Leverkusen
Juventus
AC Milan
Marseille
Benfica
Bournemouth and palace won't be favourites
If you forget the club names and history and focus on ability, then I actually think Bournemouth is a slight favourite on this list.Doesnt look like it will be the cake-walk in the Europa next season for English teams

Yeah, but you can't really win anything if you keep selling your best players...No more English winners this season please, pull the ladder up Palace.
They’ve done amazing considering they’ve lost Olise, Eze and Guehi over this 2 year period.
Tell me about it, I didn't see anyone talking like this when Serie A was dominating the 90s or La Liga in the 00s.Why are English fans moaning on twitter the premier league has too much money and its not fair on the Europeans?
Any other country would be proud of its success. Weird mentality.
