No, no they wouldn't. If those plates are flexing, it'll distribute the sub surface around and causing even more flexing. When it's pushed down in point A, it'll rise in other places, or sink.

The whole system would need a huge diagnosis and repair/remanufacture. Or they remove the retractable system and fill it in completely.
They will not be removing the retractable system I can tell you that for sure.

You saying why do we have to sign City’s cast off, then saying why didn’t we sign Lookman, who had many clubs where he didn’t succeed before Atalanta. You don’t see the irony?
KDB, Salah, Dembele, Henry, Bergkamp, Robben, Sneijder, Pirlo, Forlan, Veron, Van der Vaart, Guehi, Alvarez, even Anderson was deemed fine to let go of as opposed to selling other players, and those are just to name a few.

Lots of cast offs go on to be stars elsewhere. Not sure about Savinho, but the point still stands.

2017 semi final vs Chelsea. 2-2. 70 mins

They brought on Hazard & Costa

We brought on Janssen & N’Koudou.

Having players with ABILITY matters first.

Casemiro was the biggest “winner” in the Europa we won.

We won because we actually had quality defensive depth to bring on in Spence, Danso and Gray to see it through when legs were flagging.

Can't you find anything similar from 1967 FA Cup final?

Spurs rumours are going to be crazy for a while

Plus City midfield rebuild, bad news for Liverpool, where's Anthony Gordon headed?

With Tottenham Hotspur staying up in the Premier League and new coach Roberto De Zerbi getting rave reviews for the job he’s done so far, the rumours about big signings for Tottenham are going to be flooding in all summer.
A couple of veterans coming on free transfers, with Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson expected to be confirmed shortly. Though the Robertson deal might be complicated by Juventus inquiring about his services.
In terms of actual transfers, yesterday saw a big dump of reporting about Spurs pursuing players from Manchester City and Brighton. They were knocked back in their attempts to sign Savinho last summer, but he’s probably available after hardly playing for City this season.
They’re also reportedly interested in Nico Gonzalez, who would certainly improve their lack of passing in midfield problem. As you might expect, he hasn’t matched the gaudy passing numbers he put up at Porto since making the move to the Premier League, but he’d still make Tottenham better.

De Zerbi also apparently likes a bunch of players on his old team, according to Miguel Delaney. He says that all of Carlos Baleba, Jan Paul van Hecke and Bart Verbruggen are on Tottenham’s wish list.
Baleba had a price tag of £100m when teams were sniffing around last summer, but I can’t imagine anyone’s interested in paying that kind of fee after he had a bit of a down season. While Baleba is a superb athlete with solid ball-winning volume and carrying ability, he was one of the worst passers in the Premier League this past season. He’s the younger and quicker version of what Tottenham already have.

Van Hecke has been one of the most productive ball-playing center backs in England since cementing his place as a starter for Brighton, and his aerial numbers are great too. He definitely has some questionable moments when it comes to marking, which is obviously a problem for a center back, but the rest of his profile is so good that I’m surprised a rich club didn’t come in for him last summer.
If Cuti Romero and/or Micky van de Ven goes, this is as good of a replacement as Spurs are likely to find.

And finally, Bart Verbruggen is definitely an above-average goalkeeper, but the change in his statistical profile from year-to-year makes it a bit difficult to pin down exactly what kind of keeper he is, and where his strengths and weaknesses lie. He had much better shot stopping numbers this year than the previous campaign, but his claims and passing numbers dropped off pretty significantly.

You might be wondering, who’s leading recruitment of all these players Spurs are rumoured to be signing? That’s a great question, since the club is looking for a new sporting director, and doesn’t seem to know what to do with Johan Lange. It seems very much up in the air if he’ll be a new hire’s equal, get demoted, or get fired. We were pretty clear at this newsletter that we expected Lange to lose his job in September, and it remains baffling that he is employed by Tottenham Hotspur.

I have never been sold on Baleba being that guy. Very good player, but as the article says, we're packed with that profile, and the cost is just insane. Smit or Wharton should be the profile we're after. Eve if it's not them, it's the style we need.

Firstly, this is a mealy mouthed response from the CEO. Completely dodging the question.

But at the end, this would have to be the first admittance from anyone in the ENIC bubble that our wage structure hasn't been fit for purpose.

The first step is always acknowledgement and acceptance, and hopefully this relegation scare has humbled the executive and ownership enough to enact change. Meaningful change.

A young kid, asking the questions to a man who employs him.

Premeditated, like so many of these staged interviews.

If that were Simon Jordan asking the questions Vinai would be toast.

We need players that have goal involvements. Goals and Assists.

We used to have 4 players that could get double figures every year. Kane, Son, Dele, Eriksen we guaranteed. Then Moura, Lamela and Chadli could chip in. What do we have now?

Yeah defo something we need to look at. Assuming Richy is off, what have we got in the current squad?

Maddison: ~10 goals if fit
Solanke: 10-15 if fit
Tel: 5-10
Kudus: 5-10 if fit
Gallagher: 2-5

Then a handful of goals from the CBs, CMs, full-backs and Xavi & Odobert when they return.

"If fit" is doing a ton of heavy lifting there, though - plenty of fitness concerns among that group.

We really need another striker and another wide forward that can seriously contribute goals and creativity if we want to be anything more than a mid-table team.

Savinho on the left, Kudus on the right and we still have Tel and Odobert to come back in.

Cracking player, likely to break our transfer record, but worth every penny i think.

Not sure I get the love for Savinho; and he's certainly not worth any more than 30m.

Playing for City, surrounded by the best players in the world, he's scored 7 in 84 appearances, with an assist every 6 games. That's woeful.

What make you think he will be better playing with lower quality players around him?

And, lets not forget that he spends more time injured than not - hamstring, knee problems, thigh problems. This guy seems like yet another pansy sick note who only plays when it suits him.
