Media Worst Co-Commentator Award

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Neville is not the worst co-commentator at all, and we know we haven't been great but fcuk off.

Not so much commentators but so-called pundits

Micah Richards is obviously a chipper character, and it's often easy to either laugh at his nonsense, which can sometimes be accompanied by a bit of insight.

On Saturday though, you could sense, post-match that Henry, who comes across as a serious character was irritated by Richards.

Henry wanted to make pounts of analysis whereas Ruchards was spouting tripe in truth.

It's weird with Gary Neville, cos despite his clear hatred of us, he DOES offer an insight into the game from someone who HAS actually won stuff consistently...

When you see pricks like Cundy, Agbonlahor, Dean Saunders, and, I'm sorry, but our very own Jamie O'Hara offer their skewed clickbait thoughts on odious outlets like TalkSport you realise that someone like Neville actually does know what he's talking about... Even IF it antagonizes us!

It's the POWER he wields that worries me more... If HE says Romero is a red card waiting to happen, then Romero BECOMES one...
If he says US going down would be good for football, then it was up to US to stop making that 'prophecy' manifest into something!

The ex-Arse brigade that infest our airwaves like an Incurable virus are finally being seen for what they are... Biased, arrogant, vindictive agenda driven pricks.

Feels like ALL of them have been 'outed' and come in for some long overdue stick at some point this week:

ALAN SMITH
PERRY GROVES
MARTIN KEOWN
RAY "Partey" PARLOUR
PAUL MERSON
LEE DIXON

All the cunts!

The only one who seems to consistently (and begrudgingly) get a pass is IAN WRIGHT, but then even HE showed his true fickle colours by flip-floppimg between Woolwich and Crystal Palace, depending on who was waving a trophy around that particular week!

I guess I just want OUR voice to be heard louder in the media, and NOT just from axe-to-grind ex players like Darrent Bent, Jason Cundy and Tim Sherwood...

Even Glenn Hoddle isn't really trusted in the media any more cos of ✝️✝️so whatever positives he says about us are kinda treated lightly.

Roy Keane is the best of the lot for me...

He 'gets it'... Tells it as it is, yes, but He doesn't take it all as seriously as the rest, he KNOWS why he's there and doesn't get above his station like his word is the law!

Plus, deep down, he's Spurs!

Nice read mate.

You have to say beating relegation was against nearly all the odds, including the evident media bias.

I quite like O'Hara and Agbonlahor talks well, if maybe not right for tv.

Neville, as you say simply seems to wield too much power.

But that's where the subliminal biased messaging from within the media really takes effect...
I GENUINELY hope there wasn't some pre-season "let's send Spurs down" meeting at the PGMOL, despite how much fun it is to speculate...

Instead, I think it IS Arse-mafia media powerhouses like Sky, who employ ex-players (who OBVIOUSLY have played, and know about the game) to spout this shit regularly enough so that Referees (who, for the most part haven't played the game) to question their own judgement and integrity!

if you've got Gary Neville or Alan Smith CONSTANTLY screaming that Romero is in danger of decapitating an opponent by merely being on the same pitch as him, then refs ARE gonna look out for any little thing...

Same as when Gabriel assassinates an opponent, if Keown, Dixon, Smith and Wright say there's nothing in it, and the keeper has to be stronger etc... who is Anthony Taylor to question THAT?

then again ,I'm loving the fact the NATION has cottoned onto the notion that the PGMOL handed Woolwich the League...

It TOTALLY undermines their achievements, especially when you considered how they fared against PGMOL-less PSG!!

I have no doubt there is bias towards us. I also think Romero is thick, and a useless player ( for us), who palpably fails to show the right regard and offers zero leadership.

Of the rest I agree somewhat. Noise is noise. It filters through and undoubtedly has an impact.

What we need to be next season and beyond is be far better on the pitch, so that these marginal matters are less relevant.

Saturday, yes. I thought a really good game, very much attack against solid defence. Better team won,,and yet straight after and since, it was valiant, nearly there that lot.

Again, the steered narrative, and whilst it was penalties. there was daylight between the 2 performances.

Once upon a time maybe, but he has long since slipped into a spitting image charicature of himself imo

Been a long time since he said anything insightful

MASSIVE problem, something needs to be done!
