He never really seemed to track back at Utd.

But Rashford is more of a proven goalscorer and I think we'd be more likely to get him on loan which tbf might be all we need just as an option for us either on the wing or as striker.
In 10 seasons at United, he's got double digit league goals 4 times.
In 4 seasons he's got 5 or less.
He's only ever had one real stand out season IMO.
 
This would be my list of young/youngish talents I’d like Spurs take a closer look at (not with Lange in-charge, though). And no, I don’t believe all of them are good enough, or will be good enough, for an aspiring top EPL club (like Spurs). And yes, I’ve missed some I am sure.
And a few of these players (like Brown, Anderson, Wharton, Yildiz) are most probably out of Spurs reach…
