Sealing the sig of the guy that helped us win a load of important games is surely how we ---- I dunno ---- win games.
More to the point I very much doubt Sporting will want to offer the 30m that's in the option agreement Spurs had.
Very likely Bayern might accept say 20m, and Sporting wouldn't offer that.

If this is true, Why? Are we just going to keep on giving him extensions for no reason. Put him on the coaching staff if he wants to stay. We need to start moving players out or letting contracts run out. This and potentially signing Paulinha means less space for players coming in.

Hes a good guy and heard a few legends talk him up. They obviously see something in line for him in the future. As a player should have left in 2019 imo. Could be potential masons mates caretaker for us or involved in some capacity.
Mate we have just (seemingly although I won’t hold me breath just yet) signed two new left sided defenders in Senesi and Robertson. There is more than enough cover there now. We don’t need to be keeping the likes of Davies around clogging up a squad spot.
