They are not near those two at all. Bale was world class at 21 summerville is 24 and was relegated with 3 teams. Savinho apart from his girona season hasnt shined at all

Exactly right.

Nothing inspiring at all in Savinho or Summerville.

The only thing I would say is that we need to also be realistic about which players might be tempted by us at the moment.

But I want to see us getting matchwinners, and neither of these 2 players fits that bill, in my opinion. Nowhere near. Not consistent enough or within their characters.

But I also suspect it's all a lpad of sh!t

Savinho is a gamble, like any signing, but he's also got a high ceiling.

I don't want Summerville though. We are making another mistake in targetting wide players with no end product.

We did it with Odobert, and Kudus is hardly prolific in front of goal.

Lange is a moron.

Summerville had a patch this season where he scored good goals, he receives the ball to cut inside and get in shooting positions.

Odoberts more of an assister and Kudus was platformed incorrectly he got goals at West Ham.

Confused why we would need both him and Crysencio Summerville though. Summerville is like Odobert pt. 2, shouldn't we be searching for a goalscoring winger or someone who offers a different profile from the wing?
The general answer to this is depth I assume. Odobert and Xavi won't be back in playing shape until December - early 2027 respectively. And who knows when Deki is back.
