Thanks for pointing him out...so I could correct his name: Blopa.
He can play as RB and WF (I think he's more used as a RB actually)
I like a fair few of your list. I think I still want Salvador Blopa.

You got a Blopa reel handy so we can see his talents?I like a fair few of your list. I think I still want Salvador Blopa.
There was basically one spot going because Neymar, Vini, Raphinha, Rodrygo were shoe ins. Rayan just came and took his lunch.Nah didn't make the squad.
I feel for him, tbh. He clearly wanted the move last summer to have a shot at getting in the Brazil team but City priced him out of a move then barely used him anyway.
I guess they needed depth, but they buy promising players and kill their careers so often.
I'd sign him on that basis alone tbh.
Yeah, they pissed him off when they backed Vinai, and thus Lange over him, which is why he fucked off after a couple of months.Yeah, Paratici openly shat on the Spurs leadership when he moved to Fiorentina. Clearly thinks Vinai & co are a bunch of mugs.
While I'm sure he'd answer the phone to Lange or whoever - networking and schmoozing are his stock in trade - I think the consultancy days are very much over. Especially since he's actually got a proper full time gig again.
Even Rayan got lucky - Estevao was gonna be a starter until he got injured. There was basically one spot going because Neymar, Vini, Raphinha, Rodrygo were shoe ins. Rayan just came and took his lunch.
And to be honest, he didn't shit on Spurs, Spurs shat on him.Yeah, Paratici openly shat on the Spurs leadership when he moved to Fiorentina. Clearly thinks Vinai & co are a bunch of mugs.

Re Savinho, if RDZ has had a say in this then I fully trust him. He obviously believes there's a player in there. Lots to improve, but at least he's adapted to life in England and has prem experience. We're not getting anyone better so don't kid yourselves. And £50m is the market. We got that for Brennan FFS. Let's just get on with it and not waste time.
A bit like stumbling arse-backwards into De Zerbi, forcing Paratici out of the club through our ineptitude will probably serve us well in the long run I think. But the way we handled his return as a dual-DoF was amateurish at best.
That all makes perfect sense tbh. And also makes sense that Vinai and Lange would then conspire to sideline him if he was the one voice in the room that didn't want to stand by their golden boy Frank.Yeah, they pissed him off when they backed Vinai, and thus Lange over him, which is why he fucked off after a couple of months.
He'd agreed more autonomy with Levy and that was why he "consulted" and why he'd agreed to come back after his ban but upon his return, the people at the top had changed and he was basically just another voice, one that Vinai and the kids didn't really know or listen to.
Fab had his flaws but also did a hell of a lot of good work during his time here, including sorting out and improving the academy.
I'm not itk in any way shape or form but I did get told about the Paratici situation from a decent bloke with a lot of high level contacts who I trust and has no reason to make stuff up.
Plus, what I was told was before what transpired and it all fell into place.
Why are you referring to people in their 60's as kids? Not sure about that, Fab was a Levy man and the kids binned him off for Vinai and Lange.
Fab wanted more control but Vinai, of course, backed Lange and so Fab left after just a few months.
Paratici wanted rid of Frank in December but Frank wanted to "trust the process" and Vinai, the gooner simp, allowed Frank to take the lead.
The kids, maybe understandably as they were new to the job, backed their CEO and that's why we are where we are.
I doubt Paratici really wants anything to do with this club anymore because his main supporter has gone and they shat on him and his experience for two clueless wasters.
We're all kids, no matter how old we are and they are uncle Joe's kids.
Yeah, I think it was the chaotic crossover between owners, with the new lot wanting to try and prove themselves but in doing so, proving their lack of experience. That all makes perfect sense tbh. And also makes sense that Vinai and Lange would then conspire to sideline him if he was the one voice in the room that didn't want to stand by their golden boy Frank.
He did some good stuff but think it's ultimately a positive that we're moving on from Paratici. He's too pragmatic and Italian in his approach when it comes to building a team. I don't think he ever truly 'got' Spurs and never cared about the style of football, while often just made deals rather than building a coherent team. He's also a fucking shocking judge of managers and it's his fault we ended up with Nuno over Fonseca, tried to appoint Gattuso and got lumped with Tudor.
I think there were rumours that Paratici was pushing for RDZ earlier, perhaps even last summer, so maybe it was also his recommendation? Does make some sense.Yeah, I think it was the chaotic crossover between owners, with the new lot wanting to try and prove themselves but in doing so, proving their lack of experience.
One thing I would be interested to know though is who was the voice that put forward and decided on RDZ?
Because I can't imagine it being Vinai or Frank.
Paratici maybe with the Italian connections but as you say, he was somewhat erratic with his manager selections at best.
The kids did bring Pleat back into the fold as an unofficial advisor, so maybe it was him?
Which again leads to some concerns about the leadership, if they've gone for a Fab target even after they've binned him off for Lange.I think there were rumours that Paratici was pushing for RDZ earlier, perhaps even last summer, so maybe it was also his recommendation? Does make some sense.
Although, at the time, he was easily the best available manager on the market so not that hard to see Vinai and Lange landing on him too tbh, even if he might not be the most obvious pick for them as a character.
Romano Pushing the Savinho deal anyway.... I presume he's not going to the WC?
