As I said the naming rights ship has sailed long ago , unless we get a City type owner . People advertise in a far more savvy way now . Not saying they have been any good , but the rot set in a long time ago. Hard to argue we have not been on a downward trajectory for quite sometime .

Think we need to hope we fluke a few decent buys and a couple of youngsters progress
On that subject, who scouted Vuskovic.

I mean there is a serious gain. What is he worth ... £70m?

The stadium non-sponsor logic is unquantifiable as the royal family making more than they cost.
Just because someone says it over and over doesn't make it true at all.
Yes, though in the case of the Royal Family you have millions of tourists desperate to see them, their palaces, and their history. Spending money. I didn't see a surge in Tottenham's global popularity out of line with other top PL clubs when we named the stadium THS. If anything, our relative popularity has declined over the past 6 or 7 years. Oh wait, could that just perchance be correlated to on-field performances?

Well the word is he was shocked when kicked out , but if as you say Frank was hired over his head then the writing was clearly written in massive block capitals on the wall .
By all accounts he turned up for work as normal only to find himself locked out and all his personal belongings boxed up.

Not gonna deny it, I'd pay good money to see some cctv footage of the incident.

I don't believe that - he must have knew his time was up with the hiring of Vinai who was a CEO at Woolwich and with all the backroom changes.

I assume that there was a form of 'power struggle' going on for some time in regards to a lot of the club, but as "potential" owner of a 1/3rd of the company, it might have been that they exercised power/control that wasn't expected to be used.

I have no idea why you think this. Most followed/supported Premier League team on TikTok, with all of the big performing artists alongside the name "Tottenham Hotspur (Stadium)".

I'm surprised you're dismissing the notion that it has a significant value
When you get to calculating "we should eschew a corporate sponsor because that money is worth less than the independent brand value of the neutral placeholder name we chose in order to preserve sponsor value" you need to realize that you have your underlying assumptions wrong.

Levy believed he was leading and implementing a new, modern structure for the club with more autonomy and expertise devolved down from his office. What Team Lewis (correctly, undeniably correctly) came to understand was that those changes and that structure were always going to be a fiction as long as Levy was in charge, if for no other reason than the organizational inertia of him running everything.

Tired of revisionist acting like Mourinho wasn't backed. Mourinho said he didn't need players

Well no, because we aren't talking about "let's turn down £25m per year".

Anyone saying we've missed out on £100m is a moron. There was no £100m. No one was at the table.

The idea is that a self-named stadium was a promotion of the concept of 'this is how your name will end up out there', and using the club as the promotional name added far more value than accepting a lower naming rights deal considering the market.

The same "Team Lewis" who have assembled a clown show to run the club and are, by all reports, interviewing even more to join the inner circus?
Clearly they have good judgement.

Correct.

That the Levy dictatorship was no longer viable and that the implementation of something more fit for purpose is being done in a way that is very obviously naive and amateurish are both true, anyone who denies either pillar of that is misreading and misunderstanding the situation.
