Said this the other day. There must be loads of cultured ball playing midfielders scattered across Europe who can pass from deep and do a decent job in the league. If only we had a suitable scouting system to be able to find them. It used to be the de rigur position for Eastern European countries and Spain/Portugal. There will be somebody suitable, they just need to find them.

I have told you once or twice before to look in that mirror.

I'll give you ten pounds that Kudus, if he is fit by November is only a squad player and gone before the start of 2027/28.

We all speculate, project and extrapolate. It would be the height of hypocrisy for some posters, more than others to douse opinion.

You're gonna be disspointed, you're not gonna get your Kudus wish no matter how much you project.

Strap in.

Struggled with the physicality of the premier league every week at Wolves

Let’s go get bus-conductor bus-conductor ‘s guy Camara

"no no the one we want is Yamal, Y-A-M-A-L. Yamal!" - Vinai probably on a cell with bad service.

We tried to do it with Richarlison and I guess overall he’s been an ok signing. Brennan Johnson …another one…Solanke I still think has a big season for us in him, especially under De Zerbi

Worked really fucking well with Alderweireld though.

Top players at those clubs though, like Toby was (although we actually signed him from Ath Madrid), not shite like those three you mentioned.

I don't think finding a ball playing midfielder is the hard part, it's finding one where there remainder of their game is up to a good enough standard that they don't become a hindrance in spite of the ball playing ability.

If they just standout in one area then the rest of the midfield needs to be very specifically composed to compensate for the weaknesses elsewhere.

So much depends on Kudus, Odobert and Kulusevskis fitness

Could be a while

Hope this Van Hecke rumour is true. He’s about a billion times better than Danso. Danso won’t be able to play how De Zerbi wants to going forward. He’s so utterly shite on the ball and teams will always target him. So many times you see the opposition up the tempo as the ball is on its way to Danso because they know he’ll panic. Sell him and Dragusin and that pays for Van Hecke. If Romero goes that leaves us with 2 excellent right centre backs and 2 excellent left centre backs who are all very comfortable on the ball but all have excellent defending attributes.

This guy definitely worth paying attention to this window, seems to be bang on the money, posted back in April

He has got a few things right early - on injuries, team news and transfer. Probably the only legitimate ITK on Twitter these days.
Can't believe I've lived to see the day where an ITK social media account might actually have some legit sources.
