I do wonder if Roberto is thinking of 3 atb :

LB- Van de Ven...............................................................RB Porro or Spence
..........................CB Senesi, CB Vuskovic, CB Van Heck
Back up CB's ...................Danso and Phillips

This way :
- Vuskovic can be taught how to be a CB in PL with a expert on either side.
- Van de Ven can be LB as he is for Netherlands
- Senesi and Van Heck can help midfield with their progressive passing
- Phillips also gets PL experience

Assume Romero and Dragusin sold, possibly Udogie too
plus Vuskovic played in a 3 in Germany

They are a delusional bunch at Juve aren’t they

I'm not a fan of 3 atb but that's a good point and right now, I'll put my faith in whatever Roberto thinks is right.

That would be a nice back three and although a little slow it's strong everywhere else.
I suppose pace doesn't really matter though as they will sit deeper with the wing backs pushing up.

There could be so many options, it's getting hard not to get excited about next season, as long as we sort out the attack.

Tough one with Kinsky. He’ll feel that he earned the job with his performances at the end of the season, but it also isn’t a large sample. If Vic goes, competition should be brought in. Don’t know if I’d go with another young keeper though.
Get a Sommer or Oblak type.

Kinsky gets a year under a guy like that, man oh man the development on that kid. Ditto Gunter and other young goalies of ours.

Listen if it hasnt killed Nutter-Naylor Nutter-Naylor you will be fine. He's been exposed for decades longer than the rest of us ...although he has seen us win a fair bit so that might explain his longevity... 🤔
I hadn’t been so scared since 97-98 when ginola was world class and klinsmann came back and scored for fun to turn the team around. On the other hand, relegation is not the worst. My uncles experienced it in the late 70s and we came back like a roaring phoenix then

While I appreciate some of the early movements for defenders, and I understand the pursuit of Robertson, Senesi and Van Hecke, I do hope we quickly turn our attention to attacking players because that’s the area that needs huge improvement

I don’t know how tight we are on our non-HG quota but I can see us going for a Darlow type if DZ thinks Kinsky is his long term No 1. We just won’t have enough games next season for a rotational keeper to get many games unless, hopefully not, a major injury occurs.

Let's see how they do shifting players out as well. As bad as we've been buying, we've been even worse sellers
*NOT ITK*

But friends I got in the French footy media and at Ligue 1 clubs tell me Pape Sarr is getting a fair bit of interest...Lens, Monaco, Marseille and Paris FC allegedly the keener parties...the latter still big fans of Tel too.

And one of my pals who's got his ins at Lyon (was the one who called the Ndomb loan back to OL before it was made public)...says there's been talks around a loan move for Souza. They have a big Brazilian tradition over there and they are skint so looking for freebies.
