We need a rebuild! But not like that...

We must look to the future! But we have to stop buying potential!

We need experience! But not him...

We need leaders! But not someone multiple managers have praised.

We need more Spurs people! But not someone who has been here 10+ years!

We need professional attitudes! But his thread is too small.

Whatever the truth, one undeniable fact is that 'fans' like you don't deserve players like Ben. You beg for players and staff who would do anything for the club and then have this reaction when one does.

I'll say it again for the people at the back...if the rest of the squad had this guy's integrity and attitude, we'd have been nowhere near relegation the past two years.

Ben has been great servant to the club, but he needs to move on.

As player elsewhere or in to coaching.

We all get this guys gives a 110% for the club, but it still doesn't stop him from being not good enough anymore.
 
As a 4th choice CB and 3rd choice LB, I'm absolutely fine with Ben getting another year. He's earned it. The disrespect the man gets is doing my tits in. He's Spurs through & through, a proper pro, the definition of a glue guy, and he's a good reliable player who always gives 110%.

Pally, Ben, Robbo...that's a much, much better leadership group than Vicario, Romero, Richy...

With Madison and Danso also, not a bad group for RDZ to integrate with some of the flakier guys, maybe Solanke could get back some sort of fitness/form/confidence and compensate for his shortcomings with what seemed like a good professional attitude before injury

He is clearly a good lad. It’s a shame for him in he says what is likely to be a 5th or 6th choice CB and 3rd choice LB. He is good enough to play for a fair few clubs
