Been seeing a few rumours about us interested in Cody Gakpo. I don’t believe them but I’d certainly take Gakpo. Him on one side and Savinho on the other. Winger problem solved
Most Pool fans really don't like Gakpo afaik. He's a one trick-pony - just cuts in and shoots - so looks decent in highlights, but he's basically viewed by Pool fans like we viewed Johnson. Decent numbers but frustrating AF to watch and often hurts them as a team.

Their benchmark is Salah and Dias. Ours is Tel and brain dead Kudus. Levels

Agree he’s frustrating to them

Gakpo is miles better than what we’ve had for the last 2 seasons… two 17th placed finishes in a row, gakpo would be a fine signing for now to get us back into the European places

Signing Odobert, Tel and Kudus was a mistake...one worth 120 mil. Bringing in Savinho who's done nothing at City would be another.

Only Deki produces when fit.
Watched a lot of Sav recently and yes, not a goal scorer but looks a good team player that can take a man out the game and quickly pass it inside…. Sounds simple but it’s effective at creating overloads and opportunities for other atttackers.

Looks far smarter than those three you mention who don’t know when to pass or shoot, or release.

An expensive purchase not without risk but I like him. We need other attackers tho and he’s far better on the left

Wharton, MGW and Mr. H Kane, best passer, one of the best attacking midfielders and best player in the world, what do we think ladies and gentlemen I would pay good money to see them plus all our other signings Robertson, Senesi, Van Hecke, Savio etc….what a season we could have if our lovely ENIC show some real AMBITION
3 English signings, we don't do that.

3 x 80-100+mil signings, we don't do that.

But yeah, would be immense.

Being linked with Gakpo is like the final few hours of most of our transfer windows when we get v v desperate and convince ourselves he's a good signing.
Talk to any Liverpool fan and see what they think of him. They hate him, and I do mean hate.

If you spoke to them at the end of last season majority rated him.

Look at the turnaround a few of ours got this year, doesn't make them bad players.

I dont rhink he moves the needle but hes alright

Tottenham Hotspur will compete with Eintracht Frankfurt for the signature of Saint-Etienne forward Djylian N’Guessan.

The 17-year-old attacker is highly rated across Europe, and multiple clubs are monitoring his progress, according to FussballDaten. He has the quality to develop into a top player, and Tottenham would do well to secure his signature.

Woolwich close to beating Tottenham to Jeremy Monga

It had been reported over recent months that Spurs would have to battle several Premier League clubs for the Leicester starlet, but it is their North London rivals who are favourites to win the race for the attacker.

This is according to The Times, who say that Woolwich are now ‘closing in’ on a deal to take Monga to the Emirates Stadium.

The outlet confirms that the winger was being tracked by several Premier League clubs and reveals that Leicester’s relegation to the third tier has ‘hastened’ his departure from the King Power Stadium.
