The time for haggling over 5 or 10m is over. Two 17th place finishes in a row and survived last season more by luck than design.

I couldn’t believe the drop off in pace those last 3/4 games.
They are probably thinking 50m for Van Hecke, a season alongside Van de Ven, then sell Micky to United for 80m and bring in Vuskovic ... something like that.
A 19 year old potential superstar is very different to a top PL CB in his prime. Quite rightly RDZ is not willing to pin all his hopes on Vuskovic leading the defence at this stage. Romero is going we need a new starting CB. Danso is not good enough.
So why the fuck do we have a DOF??? Like what's the use of it when we have the world most sought after teenage centre back and the manager is insisting on another CB? After they've already brought in Senesi?

None of it is obvious to me. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if VDV is sold.

Vuskovic being sought after doesn’t mean he’s ready for the premier league next season
His stats aren't really much to write home about though. In the last 3 seasons he's played 81 games for a return of 33 goals and 8 assists in the league. cL he has a far better return, with 7 from 13 with 2 assists in the last 2 years, but that could be stat padding depending on who he's scored those goals against, I don't really know.
However, if he's struggling to score goals in the Italian league, what are the chances he'd improve on that in the PL?
I'm not really seeing how he'd be an improvement over what we already have, based on the above, as Richarlison has just about the same goal return in the PL.
No sense in bringing him in unless he's going to elevate our frontline. Based on the available evidence, he won't.

Exactly, Danso if great squad player, not first choice. Vusovic is still young and unproven. Last see a year with Van Hecke gel with both Micky and Senesi then bring Vusovic over.
Gettable is relative though. If you're prepared to stump up the cash then most are available.
I feel like a bit of a broken record here, but I'd be going all in for Osimhen. He has a proven track record in 3 leagues now, he's prolific, fast, strong and clinical. There's no reason we can't structure a deal so he gets a signing on fee to offset his wage demands and bring them more in line with the rest of the squad, but he's as near elite as is available now.
