NEWS: Jan Paul van Hecke is out. It's Spurs and only Spurs. The Oranje international is awaiting agreement between Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur, but is no longer speaking with any other club. Personal terms agreed. More to follow @VI_nl️

I just think we will wrap up van hecke and savinho this week before world cup starts. When world cup starts negotiations on backburner imo.
I wouldn't be surprised if a deal is already agreed for Romero to go, given we are dropping nearly 50 million on Van Hecke. Probably to Atletico for around £50 million.Seems this one is close then. Curious we haven’t seen more Romero rumours but given his suitors are on the continent I suppose those will come later, these clubs always move so slowly
Van Hecke seems to be just final negotiations with Brighton, if the Dutch tweet is to be believed. It's not like he's holding out for a better suitor after the WC.I just think we will wrap up van hecke and savinho this week before world cup starts. Will be great to see Romero gone. For me he will be synonymous with a clown show of a Spurs side over the past 3 years. Red cards, mistakes, goals conceded galore. Ironic that the same group won a European trophy.
Will be so good to move on and have a totally new defence.
It was almost certainly leaked by Ven Hecke’s camp to counter the Brighton CEO’s announcement that they had rejected our bids. That was clearly a last ditch attempt to start a bidding war, this is shutting that down. I expect they’ll have to relent sooner rather than later.
Or closes...I think you're going a bit early with the transfer window meltdown mate.
All the signs seem to point to both Hecke and Savinho getting done soon, so let's at least keep the toys in the pram until the window actually opens?
Hopefully he’ll piss off permanently when his lover is sold!

Robertson
Senesi
Van Hecke
Savinho
All these signed before the WC would be an excellent start to the window.
Yeah. Bang on the money.De Zerbi has amazing pull it seems, isn't it kinda funny that Mbeumo and Norgaard didn't want to go anywhere near Frank, speaks volumes.
I was going to say that but going by some of the reactions in here so far, I thought it was far too ambitious!
Nah, a stinker and nobody comes in for him and he’s stuck sat watching our season from the sidelines

It is a true gift you have got.I said from day one Frank was a dour, uninspiring, pathetically weak appointment that would drag the status and pulling power of the club to level of the likes of West Ham and Fulham.
I'm still astounded that so many sheep on here convinced themselves it was a sound appointment.
Seems this fanbase never learns![]()
He is 19 and yet Gray & Bergvale have played loads of games in the last 2 seasons and are both only 20 now. He should be in the squad and not helping other clubs. He will not start the season as first choice but will have to prove himself. Prove himself at Tottenham & not elsewhere. Both Bayen & Barcelona are sniffing around him & not any of our other CB’s or potential CB’s.Those same people will probably be the first ones calling him shite after his first mistake.
The same ones piling onto Tel, Odobert, Bergvall and Gray.
They've built Vusko up so much in their own minds that they're just setting him up to fail their lofty expectations and when he does, they'll be slating him, RDZ and the board for fucking it up.
It's always the same.
He's good and has great potential but he's 19 and has a lot to learn, the EPL is a hard teacher.
It appears as though he wants to play regularly and learn more, so can we really take the risk of making him the first choice RCB?
Not for me, not yet and certainly not after the past two seasons.
I wonder if the 35m we owe Atleti for Gallagher makes this one relatively simple. Just cancel the monies owed and 20-25m on top.Seems this one is close then.
