From the last two contenders for the Head Coach position we had vacant until today were both youth developing experienced. This to me shouts obviously that Levy&Co are looking for a long term appointment to develop the squad and youth.Perhaps.
We had one under Redknapp until the court case was settled, and then he wanted something else. I think at that point it all changed. AVB was the wrong fit, and Sherwood was never really intended to be long term.
I think Levy wants a philosophy, and we have an incredible training facility and (despite what some seem to want to believe) a new stadium on the way, so there's great potential in there.
I think the youth side is ripe and ready to pick - What MP did at Espanyol, and a little at Southampton, was to develop those players - if he can get that right, it'll be the start of something great.
He's a young guy, but he sounds like he's got his head screwed on right - something that's more than we've had for years.
What I also take note from this is that none are denoted as Manager. Meaning one of two things; either Levy&Co want to micro manage or that Baldini has a bigger part to play than it's let on.
