Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Perhaps.

We had one under Redknapp until the court case was settled, and then he wanted something else. I think at that point it all changed. AVB was the wrong fit, and Sherwood was never really intended to be long term.

I think Levy wants a philosophy, and we have an incredible training facility and (despite what some seem to want to believe) a new stadium on the way, so there's great potential in there.

I think the youth side is ripe and ready to pick - What MP did at Espanyol, and a little at Southampton, was to develop those players - if he can get that right, it'll be the start of something great.

He's a young guy, but he sounds like he's got his head screwed on right - something that's more than we've had for years.
From the last two contenders for the Head Coach position we had vacant until today were both youth developing experienced. This to me shouts obviously that Levy&Co are looking for a long term appointment to develop the squad and youth.

What I also take note from this is that none are denoted as Manager. Meaning one of two things; either Levy&Co want to micro manage or that Baldini has a bigger part to play than it's let on.

the more I read on the bloke the better he sounds

charismatic leader who demands respect and works on developing a good relationship between players and fans

great at developing players and getting the most out of his available resources

EPL champion 2014/15 season :freundgoal:

AVB wasn't youth developing experienced, he'd not had a second season at a club until us, to be fair.

Sherwood - sort of; not an experienced manager, I believe his plaudits from the youth side came from the revenue he generated through paid-for loans and selling the likes of Caulker for such a fee (having hardly been in the first team).

Definitely feel that they are looking to build - the only player that goes against it all is Soldado (still a head scratcher now).

Batshuyai is a link, with Leige a feeder/'troll Utd' club to us, so looking forward to seeing that develop with Poch to help him

3rd next season 1st 15/16 :freund:

surely he'll get fired if he finishes 3rd : ostrich:

I don't know to much about the bloke either tbh but he did well at Soton and by all accounts he was highly rated in Spain. I like the look of him and he looks to be a bigger guy who can lamp any players who try to become a disruptive influence. Isn't FDB being touted for other jobs across Europe too?

He hasnt been approached the last few weeks. He has always been very open so i believe him. Unless he regrets his openess regarding the spurs move and he decided to get smart. But he is so experienced in football i assume he knew what he was doing

Also if FdB fucked my girlfriend and gave me herpes through her I would be proud
