Ok ade explain this why do the players look like they don't care why is it only mason and Kane giving a fuck or looking like they do.

We would cheer a defeat if every player came off giving grit and determination, no real leaders in the team right now, players want the fans to show some passion then work harder.

If at work I was given a task and I was lazy with it if I went back and said well you didn't give me enough encouragement that would not be a satisfactory answer at all.

If these players want praise they can earn it like Kane, lloris and mason.

Dunno, I kind of agree with him. Granted, I don't get to the Lane but I can see how it would be disheartening to play in front of a crowd that you aren't feeling any love from.

It's a bit like how Sammy said we need to come to grips with the fact that we just aren't top 4... maybe even top 6... at this point. Games will be more enjoyable, and perhaps with that extra bit of confidence the football we all want to see will come. I mean shit, at the very least it isn't working with us booing so we may as well cheer our fucking hearts out at all times. Let's not forget that most of the squad loves Ade... if he's speaking on behalf of the team, it's probably a collective voice.

AVB raised this long ago - and I'm sure most players would agree with him

The atmosphere is poisonous - false sense of entitlement mixed with unrealistic expectations and instant gratification 'Top 4 is our everything' cunts who think we're somehow meant to be in the Champions League every year

What I find more alarming is no one has picked up on this:
Pochettino showed at Southampton and Espanyol that he is a talented coach but Adebayor says there is a “blockage” stopping the players understanding his message. Nonetheless, he gave Pochettino his firm backing.

He added: “All managers bring their own philosophies, the way they see football. But this is the fourth manager in three years, so now we just have to stop arguing about the manager.

“He’s a great manager and a great man and we just have to find a way so that we can try to understand what he wants to tell us and how he wants us to play and put that on the pitch.

“If every player could do what the manager wants then we would win the Champions League. But we are not getting the message. He is a good manager, a good man — we just have to get what he’s telling us.

“We have to get used to him. He is the new manager and it is tough. Tactically, he is working hard, he is trying to make us understand what the opponents will try to do and what we have to do to.”

Right now fans booing is the least of my worries. Why don't the players understand him? What is going on?

Sounds like all we need is a Spanish translator / Interpreter

How complicated are the tactics if we can't figure them out after 11 PL games?

In all honesty "we don't understand the gaffers ideas" is a complete cop-out at this point. Either they CAN'T do what they are asked, or they WON'T. Not rocket science.

I don't know how many times I have heard this advice in my lifetime, but it is a fair few...

If every player who pulls on that white shirt gives 110%, a result can come just from that. Yes, it may not be going right for the players at the moment, but fucking put some effort in and try! That loose ball in the corner that you don't fight for when you should, because 'there's no point', etc. are all the negatives at the moment and something can happen from those sort of moments.

The fans WILL all get behind the players if they show some fight for once, regardless of how we play, as long as there is effort from every single one of them.

Fuck off. We were signing after we went 1-0. We tried to encourage them and players like Eriksen, Capoue, Kabul let us down. He can fuck off. Don't tell me about loyalty you money grabbing cunt.
FFs, lloris clatters their striker and we have a lull, and they switch off. The was Bojan went through the midfield was terrible. But, we were still backing them.
Then Rose f-ucked up and the centre backs went to sleep again.

Oh, so how do you explain the Villa game then. The fans sang from start to finish and we still looked utter shit first half. It's not the fans, it's not the manager. At the end of the day it's the players. So, his point is not valid as we have been shit away too.
You get paid £100,000 odd a week to play football and not matter what effort or performance you give, you still draw pay. I get paid a fraction of what you get and have to pay through the nose to watch you walk about throwing your hands in the air just to make sure you do.
Coming from a mercenary, it's all a bit rich. He never fucked off during the summer as we pay him more than he was offered.
2 things will now happen. He will either start playing good -as per usual contract year - or, as I suspect, is waiting for a free transfer as his contract is up next summer

110% this! Would say the crowd dropped for about 5-10mins max after they gave Bojan the first goal.

I've always felt that the fans need to be the 12th man. Booing during the 90 minutes is never productive.

That being said, these players need to realise that they aren't children anymore. They are highly paid professionals and sometimes you have to look at yourself instead of blaming someone else....and, what's more, Adebayor basically admits in the interview that the lack of performance is a sustained problem that has run through more than one manager. It is sustained mediocrity and the fans aren't knee-jerking. They're just tired of seeing very little sign of effort. It's all very well Ade saying that he always tries his hardest...but can he truly say that all his teammates are doing the same? I don't see how he can.
He's also saying though that the new, young players, like Kane are particularly affected by it. And that what the fans are doing isn't helpful. Which is pretty clear and true.

Spurs fans are not the only problem at the moment, but they are a problem.

when your five year old brings home a crap painting from school you congratulate them to encourage their effort and creativity.

When a 25 year old professional paid in excess of £60,000 per week serves up inadequate performances on a weekly basis they need to shoulder some fucking responsibility. I detest this modern mentality of footballers, it's cause and effect. In the same mould as "I want champions league", if you want it why don't you up your game and get your current team there as opposed to jumping ship at the first opportunity. Players have 0 work ethic or commitment these days so is it a suprise when fans get on the back of performances. They're little more than paid mercenaries and if they can't do their job they need to look at themselves rather than whinging about the manager/fans

I don't like doing this but I had to read that twice and parts still don't make sense! I get what you're trying to say though, I think

That's the crazy thing, the same players who want the love will leave as soon as a bigger chance comes along, thankfully other than Lloris most of our players look so shit they are hardly going to be chased down by Real Madrid.

Funny that the only two players who run their guts out are the young ones like Kane and Mason. Wouldn't take a word Ade says seriously. Used-car salesman with football boots

Some may associate Old Trafford more with prawn sandwich eaters than hearty singers, but this weekend's Premier League action appears to show that those inside Manchester United's stadium know how to belt out a song better than most.

In the wake of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho saying he felt his side had been "playing in an empty stadium" last weekend, debate has raged about possible reasons behind any crowd apathy.

Ticket prices have been put forward as mitigation, as have all-seater stadiums and a growing number of day-trippers to grounds.

In a bid to try and see if Mourinho's words were true of other Premier League grounds, Press Association Sport its reporters with a 'Sound Meter' smartphone application which would attempt to record decibel levels at this weekend's games.

While this level of research can in no way be considered scientific and is nothing more than a rough guide, it does indicate that United and Crystal Palace fans made more of a din than any others by as many as six decibels, although for balance there were 30,000 more fans there than anywhere else.

In the interests of fairness, all samples were taken from kick-off to the 60-second mark, the highest recorded point has been used and, as no goals were scored in this period, the decibel levels can be considered to have been generated in similar circumstances.

The recordings will be repeated at the next round of Premier League games in order to gather readings from every ground.

Manchester United v Crystal Palace, Old Trafford (Attendance 75,325)
Decibel level (out of 120) 84: "It was loud inside Old Trafford at the time, with plenty of the noise also coming from the Palace fans"

Southampton v Leicester (31,297)
Decibel level 78: "The opening minute did not drop below 72 and peaked at 78, even though nothing notable happened"

Sunderland v Everton (43,476)
Decibel Level 78: "Sunderland won a corner after 35 seconds and Connor Wickham headed over at the end of the minute"

Tottenham v Stoke (35,699)
Decibel Level 78: "Nothing happened, just a normal opening minute"

West Brom v Newcastle (26,476)
Decibel Level 78: "There was a high of 78 even though there was nothing for the fans to get excited about"

Liverpool v Chelsea (44,698)Decibel Level 77: "The level rarely dipped, with main action being Emre Can having a shot deflected wide"

Swansea v Woolwich (20,812)
Decibel Level 76: "There was nothing of note other than possession changing hands a couple of times"

QPR v Man City (18,005)
Decibel Level 76: "There was nothing of note in the opening minute, unlike later in the game"

Burnley v Hull (16,998)
Decibel Level 74: "Burnley had a chance in the first minute with Danny Ings shooting over"

West Ham v Aston Villa (34,857)
Decibel Level 74: "There was absolutely nothing report inside an opening minute"

If they gave their wage to everyone who paid to go to that game then I'd respect their "don't shout at me , crybaby self pity" but they ( mostly) wander off, drive home to their penthouse suites & eat unicorn eggs from Angels tits.

Fuck I'm getting bitter :D
