We could argue all day about whether someone deserves to be binned. You could go through the forum, picking out every post and putting together a fantastic argument on why someone was rightly/wrongly binned or who else should be in their place.

The sin bin system isn't perfect. We know that, you all know that. It's what we use here though.

Just what has Adebayor achieved as a footballer? One Champions league runners up medal.
He scored 26 goals in 115 apps for Monaco before going to Woolwich where he scored 62 in 142 ( about 15 season in all comps) where he was arguably at his best. He then scored 19 goals in all comps in his 2 seasons at City 8 goals in 22 apps in all comps for Real.
In 4 seasons here he has scored 41 goals in 106 apps in all comps. Divide that by 4 thats 10 a season in all comps.

To be clear, I am simply talking to those who were quick to bin someone, on the admittedly slim chance that they might think twice before doing it again. I am not directing comment at the merits of the forum's sin bin system but rather to those who swiftly utilized it to bin someone whose posts they didn't agree with. If we are going to crudely analogize the forum to a democracy, we can also crudely analogize to the principles of freedom of speech.

i'm having nightmarish flashbacks to this past summer when the sunshine brigade went on a crusade, pming others telling them to sin bin certain users on sight.

The guy was trolling a RIP thread in order to win some Internet points with his forum enemies - re-read the initial posts. Lower that scum. The forum has spoken. I've been binned numerous times and true as nuts every time has had a solid reason. Being a cunt is a gift and curse, I guess.
