So we have two players that normally play centrally that can cover LW and two players that are specialist right wingers that can cover Lamela, yet you want a RW? Sorry mate but unless Lennon and Townsend are sold I just don't see it. Rather we have a specialist LW to challenge Chadli and keep Eriksen and Pritchard for the 10 spot.
Just my opinion though.

I dont know him as a human or what he brings to the dressing room. I do know that he scored goals under Sherwood though, and that he was named vice captain by Poch before falling out of favour.
As I said, he needs to go, because last season we paid him a lot of money and didnt pick him while we struggled with fatigue, as we did with others.
 
What's starting to worry me is no club has been linked with the Romanian goat fiddler vlad chiriches.

The thought of seeing him in a spurs shirt again horrifies me.

First he claims that everybody sees Alli, Onomah etc. as starters. Then he's explained that that's not the case + asked to quote those saying that.

Then there's quiet.

Then he comes back later with an even more extreme (and made up) assumption, that people expect those youngsters to "carry the team".

It's his war hungry imagination and inability to read and understand a simple message that's causing people to hate his guts, not that he's not a rose tinted happy clapper.

Porto is like Barça in terms of the region being very independent from the rest of the country. benfica stays in Lisbon , the capital of the country. 80% of their trophies were before the late 30 years. In the last 20 years Porto won 16 leagues, 2 europa leagues annd one champions league. They can't stand how big and strong we become despite the fact we are not tha club of the government, we never were that.

When Salazar, the portuguese dictator was in charge Benfica was his club, they won everything big they have. Like the two champions league trophies they have, in the 60's. Porto won the first one in 1987 and the second in 2004. We won a fucking CL in modern football.

Withe Dembele linked away, and on the evidence from last season he may well be, I feel we are getting lighter and lighter in the middle. McCarthy seems to be a genuine target but theyve said he´s not for sale.

Even if we sign him, does he really compensate for Paulinho, Stambouli, Capoue and Dembele put together?!

The thought of Mason starting every game is a worrying one.
