Window open on July 1st. Season kicked of August 8.. Everyone wants us to sell Holtby and find buyers for Kaboul, Chirches, Paulinho, Soldado, Stambouli, Capoue & Adebayor and sign players to replace them in 37 days. Some want us to do it before July 15th and pre season.
Considering the amount of deals we have done, 11 in that time, I think we have done well in the time we have.

Why can't we just buy a decent striker to help. He doesn't have to be the new kinsmann. Look at Diouf at Stoke and gomis at Swansea. Not world beaters but they know how to play their position. I'm sure they weren't out of our reach.

I do disagree on that transfer bit though. If we get away with a 0-0 draw today, we will have 2 pts of 9 pts possible. A pts loss which is more or less equal to what we need to break the glass ceiling to top 4. We simply cannot afford to complete the squad 3 - 4 games into each season.

The game is about winning. If we have a dire start to the season and the players look like they can't be arsed then fans will be frustrated, especially during matches. It's called human nature. Not everyone can be the sewn lip happy clappy type every single second of the season.
