You know, I'm starting to think we don't really need anyone. Maybe just buy some young talent again. Our team is brilliant, it would take something special to improve it. The squad we have with players on the bench already, Son, Wimmer, our fullbacks, Chadli, Son, Mason, etc. and the likes of Clinton as well, it's hard to see the point in bringing anyone in unless they are either world class already, or young and promising to become world class one day. Key injuries aside, I don't see why we can't challenge for the title next season with the players we already have.

I like the sentiment, and agree with a lot of it, but (touch wood) being in the Champions League next year means that we do need a bit of high quality depth because suddenly we'll have a competition that will be given very high priority indeed (equal/above the league).
Also, we need to grab the opportunity with both hands to use CL qualification as that added incentive for players to join.

We unlike others around us don't need too much to improve upon, as we already have the nucleus of an excellent squad. 1-2 quality signings should see us be able to challenge on both fronts.

I still think we should buy a top player for the 3 behind the striker

After last night's perfect performance from the attacking quartet, I find it hard to replace any of them, they all have different qualities that work in perfect unison when they are on it.

#GarethWho?

At best it would be a back up not someone to replace anyone. I think Lamela has really put the past two 'forgettable' seasons behind him.

I still think Dele's future is at cm, just got to trust Poch I guess

We do need another striker though, makeshift strikers like Son and Chadli won't cut it if Kane goes down long term, but I agree with the general sentiment, the current team is hard to improve. Not because they are currently playing so well, but because they are all so young; they're only getting better.

Backup Striker for Kane such as Gareth Bale.
