Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He played that one ball on the break way too late that caused Kane to go offsides, but other than that I think he's bee good. I think Ade has been taking up Lamela's space too much.

Ade looks completely lost out there. With Kane and Lamela we don't need him dropping deep.
no worries, when he gets bored breaking up attacks he goes out to the wings, where its really quiet these days, during Spurs games.

Actually I thought he did very well. For the first time he didn't pass it early like he has been and Ade and Kane went into offside positions.
However, he then held it until the right time, until first Ade, then Kane got back onside. It wasn't ihs fault the lino made a mess of it as both were clearly onside. Didn't stop Adebayor giving it to him either. He moans when he don't get it, and when he does does not much with it, or loses it.
Also Lamela has been everywhere and alway making himself available and not shying away from wanting the ball. I think if anyone has been poor it's been out of Dembele, Adebayor and Davies. Moussa should be steaming himself on this game. He isn't.

Unfortunately, this is the Dembele we have now. Too comfortable with hovering around deep in the midfield instead of making direct runs.

Yahoo Sports on Lamela's goal:

Erik Lamela just scored with a rabona from the top of the box and now he can never be criticized again.

The 22-year-old Argentine has received a heavy dose of negative assessments since joining Spurs from Roma in the summer of 2013. Prior to Thursday's Europa League match against Greek side Asteras Tripoli, he had only scored one goal in 29 appearances for his current club. But it turns out he was just building the suspense for the ultimate in ill-advised but somehow successful goals.

Spurs manager Maurico Pochettino was so stunned by the goal that when the camera cut to him, it looked like he had soiled himself and forgotten his own name.

If you even try to attempt this in FIFA 15, the game will melt and you will probably be arrested.
