Courtois did clarify the remarks after the Belgium game. Rather than saying Pickford was 'too short' he actually said that he (Courtois) might have saved the shot in question because he was '15cm taller'. Usual media nonsense.

I lived in London for 10 years and didn't really have much interest in football before that. I went to games at a few grounds but as soon as I went to White Hart Lane it was just obvious which team I would follow.
Still, it seems odd to me that those from Wales and Ireland currently drowning in their own bitterness express their utter hatred of all things England by supporting football teams from London, Manchester and so on. You'd think the celtic passion burning so fiercely in their hearts would draw them to Shamrock Rovers, Drogheda United, Total Network Solutions and Cefn Druids.
