Fair play mate. I was expecting more from Sweden, overall we looked quite comfortable and yet at the same time Pickford needed to pull off at least one world class save.

It was a fair match though, played in good spirit. You should be proud of your boys.

Listen, I do adore the five english Spurs players when they have the Spurs shirt on (bar Rose maybe), busting their nuts off in a drilled, hard-pressing, fun-playing MP side. But seeing Kane in a deep role in a slow, boring, sideways playing team who cowardly dodges a harder route to the finals, squeezing their way against pub teams. Not so much, I don’t fancy them or Southgate for that matter.

I’m not a lesser Spurs supporter for that standpoint am I? The english national team is not Gods gift to football that we all must love and praise. I get that you english lads think that because we all have love, and a blind spot, for our countries and their football. And it was long ago you actually had any significant results internationally.

Maybe it’s your year and all that?

I, however, can think of many nations with a more fun, energetic and more likeable side that I fancy a lot more.

Also, being riddiculed for my country’s grammar and spelling is borderline xenophobic and for a club with history of being victim of racist slander and anisemitism seems very odd. Don’t you think that SouthStand Billy SouthStand Billy you fucking prick.

You've done exactly the same though Mick. I'm able to hold normal debate with others that don't go on a personal assassination if their opinion differers to theirs, no snide comments or innuendo. Take a look at my dialog with SouthStand Billy SouthStand Billy he disagreed with me, he didn't get personal, so I didn't get personal with him. Everything civil and respectful, it can be achieved.

Yeah, after England's first goal Sweden never looked likely to get anything from this game.
It felt like we finally ran out of gas, but it is also a very limited team offensively. Still created three good chances in the second half, but lacked the required quality to turn them into goals, instead Pickford made a couple of great saves.

After the qualifiers and the world cup I'm cautiously optimistic for the future. That's a huge difference from two years ago. Except for Granqvist, the back four + goalie will be solid for the next 10 years. We have some young players that hopefully can take the next step and give us some firepower up top.

I think it is important that clubs and the SVFF look at talent development and how we can take the next step with it. Few Swedish elite clubs have top quality academies that can produce talent. We need to look at countries like the Netherlands and how their youth outfits are set up. Seems like the next logical step.

If you aint Croatian, Belgian or French and you desperately want England out, well as far as Im concerned your support of Spurs is not needed or welcome.

If we were out and for no reason I was slagging off Belgium and praying they lost, I think someone would be within their rights to point out that maybe I should want the best for our Belgian lads....and thats without factoring that I DONT support fucking Anderlecht or something...

Against Croatia theres no reason why a spurs supporter would want England to lose. You cant have a problem with someone who isnt French or Belgian who wants them to beat England in the final though. Theres spurs players in those teams too.

It’s the final, England v France. It’s gone to pens. Henderson of England can win it by scoring against Lloris of France. Do the clubs they play for still matter then, or does it only matter in one direction? Do we cheer the Liverpool guy, or the England guy? Oh wait....

People generally support the country of their birth and if that country has had conflict with another, why support that other? Are we expecting the Scandinavian nations to support one another? Won’t happen. Spain to get behind Portugal? Brazil to cheer on Argentina? Especially strange is expecting Scotland to support England, when it’s the oldest football rivalry out there. Doesn’t matter what club side anyone supports, it’s not club football.
