We had no Bale and Modric could only play as a sub. Gomes, Corluka, Pienaar, Palacios, Sandro (before he was class), that team didn't have much chance on paper but they did it. It's a game of football anything can happen. If we play like we did against City we will win. If we play like we did against Leicester, we won't.

Yep, plus I don't think VdV was fully fit. As has been said before, they played like heroes that night and again in N17.

Poch made just as much of a stink about our transfer policy towards the end as Conte has recently. If he comes back he will demand top signings. The reason he lost interest was because we, in his words, built an amazing house but didn't buy any furniture.

Hopefully tonight Sarr will have a breakout game the same way Sandro did. He played with his balls out that night!

Not point in coming back, he won't get top signings, just more lies from his boss.
I still expect him to come back, simply because he is a safe pair of hands while the real work goes on.

Yes your right, keeping him there because it's cheaper to let him move in the summer.
Similar to Jose, sacked a week before a cup final, because they were concerned it would cost more.
People who have no interest in football, money saving over football glory and yet some think they are good owners.

Jose was sacked for sporting reasons. The football and results were diabolical and the players hated him. He wasn’t sacked to save money. Sacking him cost us a lot of money.

Not sure about that. Son, Kane, LlorisDier, Davies and a few others seemed to have good words to say about him when he left.
