Why are Colchester our hated rivals?
- we've played them in a string of controversial games over the past 32 years, involving multiple dodgy refereeing decisions, handballs, fan brawls and last minute winners. It just built up over time. Other rivalries include Oxford, MK Dons (franchise - we were Bucks' number one team until they turned up) and Bristol Rovers (long story - similar to Colchester)

How is our club in general?
- we are a fan-owned team, normally skint. However, we made ยฃ2 million in sell-ons from the Jordan Ibe sale to Bournemouth which paid off all of the debt to the previous owner. Our new chairman is a racing car driver from Leeds who also owns Beechdean Ice Cream (our sponsors). Nothing to argue about on that front.
- footballing wise, we live off loan players from Prem and Championship teams. We stayed up on the last day of the 2014 season, and then conceded a stoppage time equaliser in the playoff final before losing on penalties to Southend the next year.

Anything interesting about Wycombe?
- terrorist capital of the UK. 7/7 attacks, ISIS, Airport liquid bomber, Al-Shabab, you name it. Wycombe is responsible for you not being able to take liquids more than 100ml on planes.
- in the Chiltern Hills. Beautiful surroundings for a pretty dire place.
- chairmaking town. Situated at the bottom of a valley surrounded by forests which was perfect for carpentry and chairmaking. Hence the nickname "Chairboys". Geoff de Havilland was from Wycombe, and most of the wooden de Havilland Mosquito WW2 planes were made here.

Do we have a women's team?
- yes, but not officially affiliated to us. We don't even have a youth team or academy because we couldn't afford it. The senior squad is all we have.

Should there be an age limit for the word "awesome"?
- probably. It sounds pretty childish in hindsight. But it adds emphasis and I like it for that reason.

Why is our forum called the Gasroom?
- the home end at our old ground Loakes Park was overshadowed by a gas works. You can see it in this picture. Loakes Park - Wikipedia

That is an absolute beaut of a photo. Old school football scene at it's finest.

Well there's a turn up.. Never knew that..

There can't be many clubs that we can say that..
I remember going up to Wigan in the mid 00's for a league game, and it was the first time we played them.

Does anyone on here remember the Billy no mates banter?

Also George Best had died the day before or something, and a minute's silence was called for. Our end burst out in a minute's applause as reported in the next day's Sunday Times. The dim Wiganers saw it a sign of disrespect. We were the the first fans to do it. Comfy 2-1.

Yep I went to that one, nice little away day when you could get tickets as a member without too much hassle. We took 5,500 from memory. Edgar Davids wonder goal!

Head to Beaconsfield down the road for some posh totty, if that's your thing.

Or if it's pigs you're after, Wycombe is perfect. :pochsmirk:
Gerrard's Cross is even posher than Beaconsfield. Wycombe is home to the most upmarket girls boarding school in the country though (Wycombe Abbey).

As mentioned before, the White Horse is very popular with visiting fans. I'd imagine that is something to do with the strippers...

I went to wycombe away with Fulham a few years back. We went to a pub which doubled as a strip club then got cabs to the game. Got charged a quid for being too close to the 'show'. Very odd, two of my mates got a strip dance together.
