Not sarcastic - and setting up against Woolwich in the same way as we did against Tiblisi...well, there is a gulf in quality. Paulinho getting that second goal in the first leg, for example. A player running from deep midfield (around 20 yards) and heading it in from 2 yards away without anyone marking him at any stage...I doubt that any Premier League opposition would be as generous as that.
While we've got the 4-3-3, our midfield three will typically be too far back and there will be a lot of movement around the edge of the box so the short passing game is what we're aiming to play if the ball ends up there, I'd guess. Also, in a 4-2-3-1 look at our options as the CAM - Holtby (shortarse), Gylfi (not exactly known for heading), Lamela (cannot comment). I don't think I've missed anyone, but if I have, please correct me.
I just think that, regardless of the value of it, I doubt it's something that we'll be concentrating on, looking at how we've set up thus far. If AVB changes the plans, fair enough. But my overall impression is that it doesn't make sense to have 1/2 players, one of whom is a renowned header of the ball, attacking a cross when there are usually 3-4 defensive players back for the opposition.
