so because I said "what" in capitals - you are under the impression I am agitated and frothing at the mouth?
You said it was a horrible joke - that's a pretty emotive word and then made allusions to a religious joke. You need to chose your words with a little more care, I would suggest. I don't care one way or another that you don't possess the imagination to understand why its funny, but to condemn it in the way you did suggests that you haven't grasped what the joke is about.
It also suggests that you are no smarter than the tattletail who suggested that its use was racist, and reported it to the Sun, rather than understanding that it was an attempt to capture peoples imagination through the use of humour.

I didn't think the joke was funny or offensive. I then referenced a moment in a television show where someone else thought the same thing about a different situation. I apologize for any misunderstanding.

There's no need to apologise, I just didn't understand what you were trying to say. My frustration is really the stupidity of the situation, and the fact that the media wont let it die. Coupled with the society of black lawyers finding another desperate straw to cling to in their frenzied attempts for free advertising, it all became a bit bizarre.

We're in an unfortunate age where EVERYONE IS EXPECTED TO BE OUTRAGED OR OFFENDED BY SOMETHING!
And if they're not, just keep chipping away until they think they are!

does your own stupidity frustrate you too, or just the stupidity of others?

If that's true then Andros has got well and truly mugged off. Ten times less than Adebayor earns.

don't think we should be using Adebayor as a barometer for what players should be earning

Maybe not, but it does kind of put it into perspective how overpaid Adebayor is when he's earning ten times what one of our best players' this season is earning, allegedly. And this is after a pay rise for Townsend.

how much is Ade on, I thought we paid him somewhere between 80-100k then shity are tacking on more

the perspective for me is the fact Ade has been around for ages at 29 and has played for some huge clubs scoring loads of goals, Townsend on the other hand is very much just a flavor of the month at present having only played a handful of good games. Yea at present Ade is frustrating as fuck but we signed him off the back of a full season of top performances and he's had afew of them over the years. All the hype aside Townsend still has much to prove at present

I'm sure his contract will be renegotiated again at seasons end if he proves his consistency

I just thought he would get more than £16k a week. Maybe £30k or £40k a week at least.

Adebayor had 1 season which I would describe as world class about 7 years ago and he's lived off that to an extent ever since.

Thought Townsend's positional awareness in attack was impressive today, especially after we went ahead. Always seems to be in a decent space when the initial attack breaks down and the ball comes back to him.

I love the fact he is Spurs through and through and appears to be keeping his feet firmly on the ground ... and I love the song Spurs fans sang to him today. Well done Andros's mum and dad for bringing him up to be such a nice boy.

His right footed deliveries are still good.

Would be better crosses on the left for sure but I have a theory though (tin foil hat time), AVB wants Townsend to cut in whenever possible and score a shit tonne of goals like Hulk did under him at Porto. I could also see AVB thinking more long term, and using this time to force Townsend to keep using his right foot by putting him on the right wing, if he keeps developing both feet he will be an extraordinary threat.

Similar to how I believe AVB recognises that sometimes we aren't able to play his system (such as when we have no natural lefties on the left flank and thus no width) but continues to make us play that way, not out of being stubborn but perhaps because he wants to drill it into the team at every possible opportunity even when we might not have the right personnel at that point in time.
