Udogie hasn't put in 26 good crosses in his life, let alone assists like that. That's what having good technique is, not some ostentatious control in the middle of the pitch that results in absolutely nothing.

We’re not going to be getting this version of Robertson that’s in the video.
Btw I'll repeat, the vast majority of pool fans say he was good last season and they should have given him a 1 year extension at least.
was he good or was Kerkez very bad?

Robertson made Kolo Muani look good (🚩) and it’s amazing people are willing to overlook that

Wage to revenue is not even a dimension used to calculate FFP.
We owe 400m in transfer fees to other clubs. We are owed about 60m.
We have no European football.
Our league finish means lower share of PL money.
Season ticket prices frozen but all other operational costs are going up.
Lewis family recently injected 100m into the club but not a single penny spent on players. Why was that?
You might think an old metric means we are filthy rich but scratch under the surface and you'll soon see our finances are in poor health.
If wages to revenue is not a metric used to calculate FFP, the why the fuck are you using the exact same metric to be concerned about FFP? We paid fuck all for Robertson.

Gabriel and Saliba made Muani look good and those cunts still won the league with those 2 probably in the team of the year.
Muani had 2 moments in the game and one was a Rice mistake.

He was not good in general vs Woolwich

At Anfield he tore strips off Robertson constantly.

Question: Does Liverpool’s dressing room suffer from losing this mythological leadership that Robertson brings?

Are you honestly saying Muani did not have a good game Vs Woolwich?? The game where he scored 1, should have scored another and was winning every aerial duel Vs Gabriel so badly to the point Gabriel had to resort to constantly fouling????

I know he's been shit generally but like, let's at least be honest here.

Brings maturity and a wealth of experience. A calm head when needed and a great influence in the dressing room.

Good signing imo.
I don't have an issue with the signing as he brings what we have often lacked - leadership, guts and experience.

Over the season's I've seen experienced older pros leave a successful club and still give 2-3 years elsewhere. We as a fan base often turn our noses up thinking we are better than that and shouldn't be taking another teams cast offs. Perhaps 5-10 years ago yes but the position we are in now we need this type of player to show the others the way when times are tough.

I know lots of people have mates with an opinion but my Liverpool supporting mate has been amazed that Robertson has not had more playing time over Kerkez this season.

If he can bring a professional and winning attitude to the squad then I'm all for it. I always felt that signing an end of the line Edgar Davids was the moment this club started getting a bit more serious about pushing for Europe. I guess Gullit had a similar effect with the chavs.
As long as the player is still hungry for success and not just collecting a pay cheque. Robertson doesn't strike me as a guy just here for a pay day

Udogie is not a better passer than Robertson, haha. What are you on about? So basically, Robertson is better at everything to do with kicking a football than Udogie, but he's not as technical...makes sense.

Everything Udogie is better at is stuff that does no actual damage in a game of football, great stuff.

Even if we pretend that Udogie has an elite touch, it means nothing if you can't pass the ball well after, it's pointless. It's quite telling that he rarely crosses and when he does it's a poor one, that's a sign of someone with poor technique.

Bang on. Udogie has absolutely no finesse or culture when kicking a ball. Ever seen him put in a lovely curling cross? Picking out a player with a long pass? No chance.

All he does is get to the box and do a cut back along the ground. That's the sign of a poor technical player.

Honestly, some of the takes I see on here are surprising. Udogie is not technical in the slightest.
