The issue is, whole scale changes must be implemented. Will he be willing to admit his faults and make those changes? Will he upgrade his assistants? Will he change and tweak and evolve? Or will he say “my way got us a trophy mate” and we’ll be sitting here in 11th next season?

Ange showed immense laser focus in driving the players and club to a bloody beautiful piece of silverware, in a toxic environment both inside and outside of the club. I didn’t think he could do it. I just saw in person months of woeful and shambolic football… so in part that toxic environment was self inflicted.

But who fucking cares right now. All I’m interested in is how I can wind up more MU fans today, tomorrow and all summer. Any ideas where I can get a “Lads, it’s Spurs” T-shirt in the next 48 hours as I’m actually going to Manchester next week?

Why is it that so many people are terrified that he will take us down?
He went through a large part of the season playing a B team, and unsurprisingly get poor results. When he got his defence back, he lost his midfield.

To cap it all, he lost his goal machine and yet for most of the season we had one of the best GD figures and there are only 5 teams currently with a better goals for column. Our problem was playing with the second 11 defence.
Then when we started to get the whole defence - we started to get close to a trophy - which he achieved, but at the expense of burning results, by playing the B team defence again.

we need a replacement for Son - sad but we know he's MLS/Saudi league standard now, and he needs to be let go. We need a good holding midfielder, our midfield even with all the best players is porous, and (IMO) Tel and our academy starlets aren't pulling any roots up, we need to buy in some talented offensive players to feed Solanke and Richie (if he stays)

To the 1976 turkey - Ange isn't dumb, but you put in a good role model performance if he's prepared to have a lobotomy.

He has a preferred offensive formation as we know, and he has shown a pragmatic face for "none shall pass" games. I'm confident he will mix and match this into the team moving forward.

It's easy for me to say - because I haven't been slagging him off all the time, but I think he needs another season and the missing players. Spinning the revolving door based on the crap from ignorant fans is no way to run a club. It's continuity we need and support from the board - get players in early, not on the eve of the end of transfer session, clean out the surplus, give the manager what he needs.

I think with the support for Ange at the victory parade and I expect the same Sunday that it will be hard for Levy to sack him as he will get severely criticised by the Media and fans alike. As to next season we should aim for
CL get to knock outs
PL in European spots
FAC win it as only 6 matches and if out of CL later stages should be achievable if we get a reasonable draw.
LC May need to sacrifice

Anyone can be criticised ; aka nobody’s perfect; and League-wise ( and in other comps ) our play has often been ineffectual/shambolic and / or predictable ; therefore we’ve lost more than we’ve won .

But in one competition we have bucked that trend and brought a European trophy back for the first time in forty-one f-ing years . Our first trophy of any kind in seventeen f-ing years.

You sound like a super-spoilt 7 year-old girl pointing out to her parents that the pony they scrimped to buy her has the wrong colour saddle and it’s ears aren’t long enough.

Obviously you’re a busy man who reads things very very slowly with their finger moving gradually over the text as you mouth the phonetics which are then heard and interpreted by your brain . It takes time ; I gettcha.

What a crock of donkey shite, at least have some wit and thought out argument. No trophy in nearly 20 years and when we get one out of spite? If you at least admitted you simply don’t like the fact, that you don’t like the idea of an Australian manager who was clearly not the 1st choice at the time has won us the first trophy in nearly years I’d accept that and not really give a shit.

Simply reflecting on your posts .

I know you’re disappointed with our League form ; but any 8-year old understands that there are both swings and roundabouts; eventually as you grow older you’ll realise you can’t ride both at the same time .

Have fun on one or the other if you can’t do both ; you actually may enjoy life more that way .
