Both out.

Ange won't succeed under any chairman in the premier league because he's not good enough, simple as that.
Levy probably has a 1 in 5 hit rate with hires. Ange isn't one of them.

As much as I hate Levy and I want him him, simply throwing money at a shit manager doesn't work.
Look at how much money Man United have thrown at OGS and ETH. They fluked, and they really did fluke, 2 minor cup wins under ETH, playing god awful football.

We need a chairman who gets the right man and backs him the right way. So in short, we need Levy AND Ange out.
Unfortunately only one is going anywhere for now, so lets just hope the next guy has a clue.

Come back to me when we are 5-0 down after 20 minutes in a PL game, or when we lose to a Ropey European team who's manager is in prison. Until then, stop being such a drama queen.
Why do we need to be 5 down?
Chelsea scored 4 unanswered goals between the 17th and 73rd minute. You don't honestly think that losing by 1 to Chelsea, Bournemouth, Brighton or Galatasary this season was indicative of how those games went, do you? That was a mix of poor finishing, offsides and Forster keeping the score down.
We are fucking shite.

I don't understand why so many seem to feel it has to be a case of choosing sides, both are underperforming in their given roles.

Has Levy supplied Ange with a squad that is going to challenge for the title? No.

Has he provided him with a squad that should be able to beat Ipswich at home? Definitely.

Levy's shortcomings do not preclude Ange from achieving the bare minimum you would expect from him.

I just don't think football fans on the whole are clever enough to understand this.
And you don't need to be Stephen Hawkin to get it.

The thing is even if this miraculously came true and Levy left and Ange stayed the first thing any new owner/chairman would do is sack Ange and put their chosen manager in place.

That said, we've seen with INEOS the first thing they did was bumble along, waste a summer, acted indecisively and have ended up with the worst United start to a Premier League season ever.

As much as I'd like a change from ENIC and would be willing to accept the roll of the dice there also needs to be an acknowledgement that it is a roll of the dice.

Even though INEOS sticking with Ten Hag on the back of a flukey cup win was a misjudgment, it was still excusable to a degree. He had a quite successful first season. His Ajax tenure, specifically that CL run in 2019, probably helped his cause as well. There was some room for optimism. Despite that, they now probably regret about all those money they spent on his signings this summer.

Why would any hypothetical new owner stick with Ange? Even Celtic stick out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of his resume. Tottenham was an even bigger jump than Celtic was. And in the last 15 months he hasn't done anything to erase the initial doubts about him. If there was a change in the ownership they would have absolutely zero reason to hold on to him. This notion of an ambitious group of ownership taking over and opening the floodgates of money for Ange is pure fantasy. He hasn't done anything across his managerial career to earn that kind of a trust.

What?

That’s one of the least logical posts I’ve ever read.

So if Son finishes his chances and we win that game 5-4 it would still have been embarrassing because we conceded unanswered goals?

I don’t really know how to take you seriously on this one mate.

So? I could have the same philosophy and I wouldn’t be a good coach. Anyone can be forward thinking. 99% of coaches these days are somewhat forward thinking.

His tactics on the other hand are basic bitch stuff. Someone like Slot or Pep are a lot more adaptable and have shown a lot more capacity for tweaking their approach to fit the league. Both assert more control over football matches which leads to more consistency. Neither have their players running about chaotically and hoping for 10 minute golden spells where a match is won.
Pep? Pep?
Pep with every star in the sky and only one player missing is struggling more than us.
But, I forgot. Pep is a certified/proved PL manager so everything is forgiven. And he's not fat.

‘Stop being such a drama queen’ says another fan in relation to Spurs being 11th in the table with 1 win in the last 7 games.

Who the fuck cares how many we lost by? We suck mate. Gala beat us up and down the pitch not long ago. Ipswich at fucking home. The Palace debacle. Cold Palmer doing his trademark celebration after panecka’ing us and then laughing in our face.

I honestly don’t know what world you live in if you think this isn’t comparable. We are absolutely marooned in mid table, further from top 4 points wise than we ever were under Conte or Jose.

We are in a fucking mess

But that’s nothing new under Levy and certainly not specific to this squad or this manager.

The previous messes were objectively worse.

No he isn’t. They’re seven points clear of us despite being in the worst form they’ve ever had.

Pep is at the end of a cycle with an ageing team needing a big rebuild. He’s won a treble and a bazillion titles with that club. All success inevitably dries up unless you’re Ferguson.

Nope - lower in the table than we were under either of the two previous messes, ergo actually objectively worse this time as the league is your bread and butter.

Losing by 5 or 1 doesn’t make much difference in a league table.

That’s a whole different debate. And I fully agree, if a new owner bought the club tomorrow, Ange probably gets replaced in January.

Buy Levy sacking manager to absolve himself of the blame isn’t going to wash with this fanbase anymore. Nor is it going to be left out of the media narratives.

People are even pointing out that they don’t want to hear anymore criticism of Levy because they are sick of it… well, GOOD because enough of us are sick of the same exact pattern playing out, time after time so if it gets a bit uncomfortable for you to keep the pressure where it needs to be then I’m sorry petal but something needs to change.

We gave up 5 in 20 mins
Under Jose we lost to a 3rd tier European club who’s manager was in prison,

None of the Ange losses are anywhere near as soul destroying as the worst of Conte and Jose. And none of them are unique to the managers in question. It’s just what happens at Levy’s Hotspurs

Erm...I want Levy out asap. Ultimately its on him and pressure on him is long overdue. But its possible to think both him and Ange are terrible. Its really not either or. Mind you Its very Levy to sack off the likes of Redknapp and Poch on a whim and back a complete bluffer.
