This season:

Last season:

But we have lost every game where the opposition has scored more than once.
They were paying a premium for win now players not prone to injury.......Just find out what Liverpool do to keep all their players healthy all the time. They’ve never had an injury crisis since FSG took over. Find out how and do that. Same for Pep’s Barca teams. Messi never had an injury under Pep at Barca… what what were they doing and how do we copy it?

Conte got Top 4 so he did better in the league. His second season was worse than this.I am starting to think there's something wrong with you.
Which one of those 2 had a loss ratio like this wally?
Are you seriously trying to claim they did no better than this clown?
I can't tell if you believe a lot of what you say or if it's all trolling/contrarianism.
Messi came through Barca's academy, so did most of that squad. They were paying a premium for win now players not prone to injury.......![]()
I called the City thing when we beat them in the League Cup - fuck, I even said before it that they wanted out as they were struggling. Some of the people here didn't believe Pep but he admitted it before they even drew us.I mean it's not even an entertaining watch any more, for our fans at least. Can't really enjoy all those breakaway goals when you know that any minute now the opposition will be waltzing towards our penalty area, then into it, through yawning empty space. And they're going to do it again and again and again, whether they're Chelsea or Bournemouth or fucking Ipswich.
The goals we let in are becoming increasingly painful to behold. It's beyond embarrassing and everyone's laughing at us. I'm unfortunate enough to know several Chelsea fans, and even at 2-0 down not one of them was remotely concerned they'd lose.
That Man City win looked fucking great on paper, and I celebrated it for days on end, but in truth City have (a) gone to shit, and (b) could/should have scored 3 in the first half alone.
Angeball might have proved unbeatable in the shit leagues he's previously managed in, but it was pretty much found out in the PL after 10 games and he's too stubborn to try and adapt. Maybe he simply lacks the coaching ability to do so.
You're having a fucking laugh, right?Conte got Top 4 so he did better in the league. His second season was worse than this.
Or the end of AVB - getting thrashed on the regs and unable to score, an, get the ball over the halfway line.
People have short memories
I called the City thing when we beat them in the League Cup - fuck, I even said before it that they wanted out as they were struggling. Some of the people here didn't believe Pep but he admitted it before they even drew us.
They are royally fuked and beating them proves nothing now.
You're having a fucking laugh, right?
At this exact stage of that season we were 3rd in the league having lost 3 vs 7 games, those 3 being Arse, United and Newcastle.
In no way whatsever were we ever this bad under Conte up to and including the day he was sacked.
It's getting harder and harder to take you seriously when you talk that much shit. It has to be trolling. Has to be.
I literally just proved how much better we were.Nope, you either have the memory of a goldfish or an incredibly selective memory.
Darren Anderton and Ledley King are both widely regarded as Spurs legends who both played under ENIC's bonus straddled miser and the previous speculating miser.Messi came through Barca's academy, so did most of that squad.
Liverpool paid premium wages but that doesn't explain Salah's incredible injury record.
I literally just proved how much better we were.
dude, you're gone - on my list of ignorees.
Some coaches can "do well" without excessive backing.I voted ‘undecided’. But Im probably closer to accepting that he wont be a success at Spurs. Enic wont back him (or anyone else) sufficiently in the transfer market for Ange’s system to work. So we will likely yo-yo between good and terrible results.
Under Ange the ‘Lads it’s Tottenham’ reputation for folding when under pressure has never been greater. If we are 2 nil up against Southampton I bet their players will still believe they could come back.
For a clever man he makes some foolish comments eg we dont need to work on set pieces, could have made subs but it would only mask a bad performance, i will always win something in my 2nd season,
However I doubt we could get a very decent replacement manager midway through the season and so it’s probably best to stick with him.
I also still hold out hope that he could win the Europa which would be brilliant.
If Munn won't fire Postecoglu then they both have to go.Spurs are different now in a critical respect. They reshaped their front office and brought in Scott Munn who has built a staff that is centered around the type football he was familiar with from his time in City Football Group. Whatever I think of Postecoglou and Munn's hiring (I didn't like either), you can't say Spurs don't have a direction that is clearly different than prior to their arrival. That's why Postecoglou being fired is very unlikely. If the Postecoglou hiring was a mistake, it is an early failure for Munn, who pushed Postecoglou to Levy, and a repudiation of the idea Spurs could emulate the City model on the pitch (but, on the cheap thanks to Postecoglou's innovative system). From a business standpoint, the rationale for Munn also involved the idea that teams could increase revenue by cultivating an international fan base. Firing Postecoglou wouldn't be an ordinary change, it would be an embarrassing failure of the new system. Not going to happen anytime soon.
Perhaps its the system. Especially for VdV. he's expected to cover and sprint back a hell of lot. No wonder he suffers injuries. We are so open its nuts and Ange can't see itI'm not sure how. They haven't been over played. They have been protected. They are either weak, or made of glass.
Romero has played
- ONCE in Europa league.
- Half a game in the EFL Cup.
- No more than once a week in the league.
Van De Ven
- Once in Europa
- 14 minutes in the EFL Cup
- No more than once a week in the league.
Richarlison - We knew he was done. He refused to leave in Summer.
Odobert - 160 minutes in the league and injured.
Okay I forgot about Roma and pretty much every match you have listed is pre-Christmas last year. The Brentford one is marked by a short period of brilliance. This season:
Roma 2-2
Last season:
Everton 2-2
Brentford 3-2
Man C 3-3
Arse 2-2
Burnley 5-2
Brentford 2-2
+ a number of pre-season games.

That’s a very very glass half full way of looking at it.I disagree. Conte was give Kulu, Bentencaur, Perisic, Udogie, Richarlison, Romero, Bissouma, Porro, Royal, Sarr, Lenglet. And of course the club did not sell Kane or Son.
If that's not being backed, I don't know what is!!
Conte's was hired to get Spurs a trophy; and hand over a working squad to the next coach. It was a temporary hire.
What killed it was
- death's to one of our coaches; and one of Conte's best friends back in Italy.
- Conte unwell and requiring surgery
- Many of our players with World cup commitments.
Basically, Conte was well backed, but didn't have the history, the heart and love for Tottenham and lost interest.
absolutely. Its obvious if you play exactly the same way every match you give the opposition an advantage - Ange doen't seem to tweek anything either. Some of the defending has been calamitous and for me that's on the system - the back four (especially the centre backs and to a degree Sarr, Biss and Rodrigo) no wonder the errors are wracking up. Ange needs to realize this isn't the Scottish league.I put Out... although there is some things I like. . we can get back in games when we fall behind and score a lot of goals in general.... issue is we fall behind a lot.
Other thing is when we are in front we have an ability to throw away leads...
Both stem from the same problem.
Take the two games against Brighton and Chelsea with better game management we win these. Postecoglous tactics/System got us in front it's also why we lost...if we won these and we would be 5th... He's the architect of his own downfall, carrying on leaving ourselves exposed against good footballing sides is just amateur.
Obviously it doesn't paper over other poor results but would stop us being so predictable if we just mixed it up a bit
