Yeah, definitely small team, with so many injuries even up to the final, where prior to that Ange and the squad totally had no experience in winning a European title. Glad their mentality won it like no others have done in the last 41 years.
Mickey won that for us I have not seen a better piece of skill.
I expect if it had gone in we would have folded.
We were extremely lucky but Postenoclue wasn't unlucky in the league.

Sorry but Ange isn’t fit to lace Poch’s boots are far as coaching goes!

Do you really think Ange would have got us to a CL Final or challenging for the title?! Not on your Nelly!

If you can’t see that and your default comeback is ‘Poch didn’t win us a trophy’ (said in a high pitched whiny voice) then you just don’t understand football!
Poch just played an unfit Kane in the CL final and put the red hot in form hatrick scorer in the semi on the bench:
I call that crap coaching and it lost us the final

I agree that was a poor decision, but most managers would have played a striker of Kane’s ability.

What lost us the final though, was the ridiculous handball decision inside the first minute!

The pen was huge; but we also collectively just didn't arrive geared up to win.... Poch & Eriksen being but 2 that didn't 100% have their head in the game.

....It also didn't help facing a scorned Liverpool who were shit-housed by RM in the final the year before; their mentality was worlds apart from our "we'd already won by getting their" mindset.

Losing Gaza in the 91 final early on was as big a shock but we overcame that setback but in the CL final we never turned up or put up a fight. Winners overcome setbacks, that team were not winners.

Are you saying Poch is responsible for Dele’s downfall?!

Preposterous if that’s a case as the lad is obviously dealing with inner demons.
I defo feel Poch helped to sanitise his play which in hindsight might have been his edge, but so many demons to work through, someone is to blame, but that’s not Poch or Dele. I hope he will always be welcome at the club, and can make help with youth development, learning from his mistakes, but coaching with empathy.

Completely different conversation.

I’m talking about the bite and malice that Dele played with that meant he always scored against cunts like Chelsea etc

Poch caved and said he needed to change the way he played.

With Romero, Ange always defended the aggression he plays with and when we needed it in a final, Romero was at his snarling, shithousing best.

You’re really reaching trying to demonstrate Ange is a better coach than Poch!
