Cliff Jones, that man looks so damned good for his age. I bet he can still play a bit as well.

An assistant to an assistant coach and the melts are still melting?
Sheesh.
A better understanding of "glamour" coaches?a 5 year old would probably have a better understanding of it than you to be fair. wally brain.
Or, alternatively, Mason came as a part of Mourinho and Conte's massive fucking salaries.Stop chatting shit. He's been around since like 2018 and has worked his way up from youth team/academy coach to first team coach. He's been promoted and kept around by managers like Mourinho and Conte and now Ange. He has plenty of experience under 3 wildly different managers with different styles and coaching techniques.
No one here really knows how good or bad a coach Mason is but the fact that these 3 managers, particularly Conte and Mourinho who like to bring in their own guys, have liked him as a coach and kept him around is testament that he's atleast a decent coach and not a liability like some of you are scapegoating him to be.
Like scoring 37 league goals. In the Dutch 3rd division.
Our squad is very young but people need to realise that our young players coming through probably won’t make it and can’t be thrown in just to give them a chance. He literally went into last season starting a 20 year old on CM, a 20 year old at LB and a 22 year old at CB. Two of which had zero Prem experience.
The narrative of Ange not giving youth that are good enough a chance has been shot down multiple times.
The youngest ever footballer to play for this club was handed his debut by, you've guessed if, Ange.
People will really nitpick and moan about anything these days![]()
He would solve our LW issue and at a low cost, could be a problem with HG though.Cliff Jones, that man looks so damned good for his age. I bet he can still play a bit as well.
A better understanding of "glamour" coaches?
Knock yourself out then, who are these "glamour" coaches we should be going all guns blazing for, provided you can prise them away from their Champagne and Supermodel lifestyles?
Any Red carpet events out there that we can approach them at?

Really good watch, I’m impressed that he speaks 6 languages! He says he makes a good point of learning different languages and understanding different cultures to better connect with the players he’s coaching. I’m sure for the players it will make them feel at ease if English isn’t their strongest language, they can speak to or listen to one of the coaches in their native language instead.
I think he will be an invaluable asset to the coaching team.
For those unaware... Monty and Serge created the best academy in Asia in terms of minutes in the first team played by academy products. The CCM academy became so prestigious (in Asia) that youngsters were applying from near and far to get a chance. Some of those players went into the first team and the CCM have won the last two championships, the last premiership plus an Asian trophy - still mostly on the youngsters Monty and Serge trained.
Take that method and coaching ability and apply it to Spurs with all the resources and cachet that involves... very wise move by Ange. I suggest you'll see at least three players under 20 of whom you've never heard in the first team by Xmas 2025.

As soon as I saw the Villa coach's name, I immediately saw this...In fact let's go through our rivals coaches (seeing as I'm still a bit bored)
Woolwich - Albert Stuivenberg: Otherwise known as the man alongside Lego head, biggest job was working under Louis Van Gaal at Man Utd - I suppose you can call him glamorous because he had an acting role on All or Nothing as a mute.
Glamour rating 6/10
City - Jan Manuel Lilo: The Temu Kevin Keegan, known for being bullied by Pep (just like Lego head was) and being his new cone boy, biggest job was actually as a manager for Zaragoza over 20 years ago who turned out to be a bit shit hence why he's probably now a no2.
Glamour rating 5/10
Liverpool - Sipke Hulshoff: Managed the mighty FC Groningen back in the day, also has the unfortunate look of an extra from Eastenders, no-one really knows anything about him apart from the fact that he has a massive forehead.
Glamour rating 5/10
Chelsea - Willy Caballero: Actually retired from playing last year, notably known for being a backup goalie which I suppose has some glam to it, always remember him going completely nuts at Kevin De Bruyne for giving the ball away when Dier scored when we smashed City 4-1 at WHL, good times.
Glamour rating 4/10
Villa - Francisco Martín "Pako" Ayestarán Barandiarán: Nothing else needs to be said, this fella completely sounds the part and looks like one of those Wii Sports characters so for that alone he completely deserves his flowers, bonus he actually managed Valencia back in the day and managed to have a worse record than Gary Neville but still, the name alone carries so much aura
Glamour rating 9/10
Utd - Stephen McClaren: Ah yes our very own ex England manager the Wally with the Brolly, if it wasn't him being the only England manager not to qualify for a major tournament since 1994, he did manage FC Twente and lead them to a league title so fair is fair, that would have given him glamour points but I just remembered that awful Dutch accent he put on so...
Glamour rating 1/10
