its actually mad that theres spurs fans who watch every game, have watched football for years and years and invest a decent chunk of time into watching the sport etc...and they actually think this guy is going to bring success to this football club! how fucking stupid and naive you must be to think something so fucking ridiculous. its actually mental this blokes in such a position, its only down to levy being such an incompetent cunt with football operations that hes even here.

After years to turgid, dull football from Conte and Mourinho; turns us into the best attacking team in the league within 1 year.

I'm of that same opinion to be honest and I will give you reasons why I believe this is the case (in no particular order):

1) His post match interviews are almost always identical when we lose. He continuously states how many chances we missed in order to kill the game yet he rarely if ever speaks about the opportunities the opposition have. It's almost as if he's oblivious to it.

2) He allows Romero to have a role in which he is chasing the ball in all areas of the pitch as if he's some sort of box to box midfielder.

3) His absolute disregard at defending set pieces. I don't care about what he comes out with now...his atrocious comments last season about it and then him doubling down on those comments proves what he genuinely thinks.

4) His initial insistence on us playing with 2 attacking midfielders with only 1 designated DM in a formation where the defence is already exposed with a high line was insane.


Of course he doesn't want us to concede but I don't think he particularly cares that much about it as long as he Is seeing attacking fluidity and goals.

That has always been Ange’s philosophy. He’d rather win 5-4 than 1-0. Levy knew that when he signed him. Ange has always had the view that football should be entertaining. It’s his core principle and he ain’t changing it. You can thank his Dad and one Ferenc Puskas for that.

Good for him and i'd rather win 5-4 than 1-0 but you will never have consistancy that way. We tried that before with Ossie Ardiles. Bielsa also tried it in the premier league, its too strong a league with a lot of savvy managers for it to work the majority of weeks.

In short he is saying, we are entertainment first, if we win great if not there is always another game.
Consistancy is the key to successful teams, we are win one lose one.

Yep I get that but Ange believes best form of defence is attack. It’s why he keeps saying that plan A needs to be done better etc etc. Once it all clicks, it’s all well and good for opposing teams to know what to do, it’s a different thing executing it.
I understand all of your frustrations, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. However he’s is, for some of you, unfortunately going nowhere this season. So just strap yourself in and enjoy the ride.
