His decision making was super erratic against Bournemouth. I don’t know why Sarr came off when he was the only one on their level in terms of competing for tackles. Another attacker just meant we surrendered the midfield completely.

I get the squad depth is terrible currently so he’s limited in options but tactically we fell apart completely.

Also, wtf is happening with Udogie? The lack of development in some of our players is staggering. He has gotten worse.

I accept he’s got a shit hand at the moment, the mitigating factors are there. But he’s not earning his pay at all. It feels like all the big decisions he makes turn out terrible.

Impossible to disagree with any of this.

I'd have rather seen him go with something mental and completely off the wall when davies had to go off last night than just stick more square pegs into round holes and hope things would click.

I feel a bit sorry for Ange in a way as he's been dealt a shit hand with the injuries and also the squad quality just isn't good or deep enough, plus a lot of players not ready.

But I confess I'm getting irked by his aggressiveness and habit of picking fights with the fanbase, just comes across as an oaf and it doesn't square with the cliches about feelings, people, etc., This behaviour is very divisive and pretty dumb in the current context, the messaging is just all over the shop.

I was thinking the exact same thing during the game.

How does this club consistently make managers make weird decisions and exciting players lose their spark?

It's fucking uncanny.

Also players like Bentancur and Solanke who are never injured before joining Spurs somehow start picking up injuries.

It's impossible to explain but this club just somehow breaks people.

Think the answer lies at the top Richard!

I’ve been a massive Ange in supporter but these results can’t go on. To have only have accumulated 2 points from Leicester,Palace,Ipswich,Fulham and Bournemouth is absolutely abysmal and for a club our size then Ange has to be one n trouble. The flip side is scoring 4 against Everton,West Ham,Man City and Villa and also 3 against Brentford and Man Utd shows we are a top team when we click but that can’t excuse the 2 points out of a possible 15 against those I mentioned.
We are only 6 points off being in a great position but also 6 points off being in a disastrous position.

The manager has been backed but to spend what we’ve spent on potential is poor recruitment. We could have got at least two game changers and still got those kids but now we look so weak when we get injuries.

Another reason I’m starting to doubt Ange is how he thinks Werner,Johnson and now to a point Sonny should start games for us at the same time. To continue with Udogie when he’s been worse than Sessegnon and is jogging about the pitch.

Massive 3 weeks now because he’ll be here till at least Xmas. I think Sunday is Ange’s biggest game of his life and the Utd cup game is where it’s make or break for me.

Every time I look at the stats I see more horrific picture than I could have imagined.

This season we are now on 20p from 14 games. This is 1.43 ppg. Across 38 game season this means finishing on 54 points. This will get you 8th-12th place finish in EPL depending on season.
If we look at the whole Ange's reign - we have gathered 86 points from 52 games. This equals to 1,65 ppg. Across 38 game season it brings up to 63 points. This would get you 6th place (across past 6 years also once 5th and once 7th).

But now the most shocking part - if we eliminate the first 10 games - and one with even two functioning braincell would have to. Cause following 42 games have shown that there has been absolute zero indication of that ever repeating. Saying that it is a factor to consider is as credible as to suggest re-signing Dele Alli for 100 mil pounds. Cause 6 years ago he was worth that amount. Even though after that he has not replicated anything of like. So no one is suggesting him being worth 100 mil now. Why would we count something that has not been here for 4,2x longer than it hasnt to be relevant anymore?
Then we are EXACTLY back to the current season 1.43 ppg.

So this shit form is NOT ABOUT THIS SEASON. It is not about current injury crises.
We have been in 54-points-form so 8th-12th place course for 42 games in a row now.
We have been absolutely shit for full season + 4 games (!) and there has been absolutely no improvement.

And when was the last time we finished on such level of points?
In 2008-2009 season (!) since then we have finished below 60 points once - 2019-2020 when we had 59 points.
We have been on course of 15 year shittiest result for more than full year, and people yet roll their eyes and call people names, and "trigger happy" and "impatient" and whatever more.
Exactly!

And all that even though we got rid of Kane (and told Son to cool off)!

Been unlucky with injuries but not sure high octane press is shagging out players. Was bullish in press conference today. Hope he turns it around. Were still in all competitions. Dross performances cant continue though.

I doubt Levy will sack Ange this season.
He might sack him this month. He will not, in any way shape or form carry on with this.
Levy has done nothing 24 years to suggest he'll tolerate a relegation fight.
Even 08/09 we finished 8th on 51 pts despite having 2pts from the first 8 games. Redknapp took on that mess and got us 49pts from 30 games. Much better than anything we've seen all year. Statistically as well as real time evidence this is our worst spell since Ramos.
Everyone was saying our players weren't good enough under Ramos and then look at the turnaround. Fans blame players too often. They need a decent coach no matter how good they are. The end.
i'm getting late stage avb vibes at this point. squad seems over ange and the tactics. i'm thinking potter could be this year's sherwood and get us some improvement in the short term by simplifying stuff and getting us on sturdier ground tactically. upcoming chelski and liverpool feeling like the city and liverpool matches that killed off avb. how long before we get a 'we is us' with tears in his eyes from ange? fire him now. he can't turn this around. we've been shit for over a year now
I'm getting every end of the line vibe. Poch, Mourinho, AVB, Juande, Jol, Hoddle.
It's what happens then a squad turns. Which has now happened.
Look on the bright side. Were not west ham.😀
They'll sack Loputegi next week and we will have to compete with them for our next coach

But that's why we have bus-conductor bus-conductor , he'll be like the Japanese soldiers in the Philippines before he gives up on this...especially since I've been the one in his ear goading him about it...as we speak he's prolly got some ready-to-post field tilt stats that contradict last night's result. Or he'll just blame Poch for all this mess...somehow!

Blame Poch? Never on this T, if it wasn’t for St Poch - the patent saint of mumbo jumbo - and his 6 billion dollar squad somehow managing to let in even more goals than Ange we’d have been lower down the league last year.

We're (not were) not "in all the comps"
We're dead in the water in the league and not even in the automatic qualification phase in the ropey league. The ropey league some idiots actually claimed we were (not we're) favourites for.

what happened to being mr positive? you was on a similar page to him the other week, calling everyone who was saying this would happen negative cunts.
His comment was just stupid mate. I’ve been positive because of how we were battering teams by 3 and 4 goals but I’m not a happy clapper. Our results against the poorer teams can’t be defended and I’ll always give an honest opinion on how things are. We were in a position to go third before we played Ipswich and we’ve completely shot ourselves in the foot.

Ange is to blame but certain players have been so poor it’s incredible. It’s not all on Ange because we have a group of soft feeble physically and mentally players.

Tbh I like to see that he still has some fighting spirit and confidence. The presser was good, no or few excuses, and his thoughts were clearly on Sundays game, and not drama.

And to the situation with the supporter, why is he expected to recieve shit like that to his face? He snapped back for 5 seconds, thank God we have a manager made of flesh and blood.

Not an Ange fanboy, for whatever that means, but I am a supporter of giving the chosen manager time to bulid and implement his group of players and style of play. Yesterday was horrible, but at our best we are an exiting watch, and we have a young squad.

Ange got his flaws, and have made some mistakes, but the overall picture is not that bad. Too much impatience and drama..

Only one answer: Stepford Footballers. Levy buys them then has them murdered and replaced with brainless sex dolls to save on wages.

For instance, you think it's Werner out there but it's actually a freshly rubberised robot running on a 9v battery that needs a charge up as soon as it gets close to the goal.

Yeah undoubtedly mate. But fucking HOW?

How would you even manage to do that if you tried. Fucking incredible natural aptitude for breaking other human beings. The only ones who don't break are the truly are special breeds like Bale, Kane, Modric and VDV.
It might be a shocking question (/s) you, but what do those you have listed have in common? They have quality. Something that most of our players don’t and neither does the manager.

IMO Angeball or whatever you want to label it needs a big squad, its essentially played like a 11 man 5 a side match with constant running ,100 mph pressing , fast aggressive tackling which will either cause injuries or completely knacker the players. The squad is paper thin made up of prospects , its going to be an up and down time when half the team don't shave yet.
loaning out Phillips seems a dumb idea considering how we play but ultimately its Levy who only wants sell on value players, we need that fuck knuckle to sell up to some one interested in Football.
However Ange has to take responsibility for last nights shit show, Johnson on the left was a no no for starters and Kulu wasted on the right when he has been our best player when played in the middle, every game feels like a shite experiment.
luckily I'm out Sunday so I wont have to get pissed off.
