Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

There will be buyers. Know for a fact Boehly and Clearlake had a deal done 3 times before they bought Chelsea because the bald midget moved the goal posts too many times. Make no mistake there will be plenty interested in spurs. We need to put the pressure on.
Levy's never selling and Lewis is never forcing him to, nor sacking him as chairman.

I've stopped believing anything can happen until Lewis dies, but he is 87 years old.

Mind you, they ought to sell. The peak inflation-adjusted value of the asset is already behind them and Levy's management is only going to make it worse. But the day to day of football chairmanship is Levy's life's work, he'll never quit voluntarily.

The decision whether they are fit to play or not isn’t going to rely solely on the manager though.

It would involve both the medical team and the players themselves, so I can’t see how you can say this is going to cost him his job, unless he’s directly gone against the advice given on their fitness and ability to play.
I agree that it's not his decision at all to decide if Micky is fit to play but it was his decision to start him and play that many minutes after a few weeks out. Especially after a recurring hammy injury. He could have eased him back in with a sub appearance.

And when I say it could cost him his job, I mean the fixtures we are about to play without VDV could cost him his job if he loses them all. The irony here is that an all out attack approach is what he gets criticized for and probably now NOBODY could argue against that being exactly what we need with only 1 fit CB.

We can try. Make it as uncomfortable as possible for him in the stadium. Let him know what most of us think. It is our club they are just the custodians. We will be here long after they have gone. We haven’t done that at all until now, time for change. We helped to get rid of sugar we can do it again or atleast try!

A lot of coaching experts on this forum and a very pessimistic and volatile fanbase. Wanting a manager to fail is an interesting way of supporting your own club.
A lot of fuckers on this forum that only turned up when Ange did.

None of us specifically want this guy to fail, because it means the club fails. But we ARE failing. Spectacularly. He needs to change or he needs to go. If he won’t compromise on anything, he IS the problem.

There’s other factors too, like a lack of depth and injuries but we’ve been shit without injuries too.

It's going to cost him his job in that we're now fucked defensively for longer meaning we're going to struggle to pick up the wins he needs to keep his job. I imagine that's what he means.
With one fit senior CB and an 18 year old kid subbed in as emergency cover you’re not going to get a realistic view of true performance are you?

I have a feeling he’s safe for the moment until the injury crisis is over. If we’re still performing poorly with them back then the axe will likely fall.

We’ve lost 7 league games this season, often without injuries as the excuse.

All managers suffer injury issues. It’s not a blanket excuse for shitness.

I’m wondering if one of the problems with Ange’s way of working is that he isn’t a trainer/manager like many, Poch being a prime example. He apparently leaves the football skills to the coaches and might then miss the person on person motivation coaching that others achieve.
Certainly the team is missing something, the players are better than this.
Makes you wonder what he is actually doing on a day to day basis at the club does it not?

(No idea why I quoted such an old post but your post was the first that popped up on here when I opened the thread lol! But the point is still relevant.)

It would be harsh but he's exacerbated the issue with VdV. Only Levy knows how much wriggle room he's got. What I think doesn't really matter.

Look, I don't know maybe Levy surprises us all and signs Bastoni and Virgil Van Dyke to really help his manager out. I doubt it though.

I'm here while Ange is here.

And I stand by my comment. Enjoy being miserable.

Haha this is so amusing to me honestly.

Was he not performing poorly before with a fully fit team then? Or am I just imagining things?

At least you're not even pretending to give a shit about Spurs which is refreshing compared to some of our new "fans".

And nobody here wants Ange to fail. If Ange is here in May and hes holding the Europa League trophy aloft I'll subscribe to his onlyfans and pledge to only drink Fosters for the rest of my life.

We're just not seeing it.

Of course, we ALL know the only reason Ange hasn’t worked his Angeball magic this season is the crippling injury crisis—after all, Romero and VDV have CLEARLY been out for most of the season, hence why we are sitting in the bottom half.

Angeball is a flawless philosophy bestowed upon us by the footballing gods; only held back by the cruel hand of fate.

I mean, he’s being honest but it’s kind of peculiar and sad don’t you think?

It just lends credence to the accusations of it being a cult lol.
