They can. Anyone says they can’t don’t have a clue. Ibanez is an aggressive defender similar to Romero who thrive playing front foot defending. He is a very competent passer too. Maddison’s game is about playing forward,creating and getting into areas to hurt the opposition and that’s playing on the front foot. I’m pretty sure if he signed with us and Ange wanted him to press and get about the pitch he would. You don’t need to crash into tackles,you just need to get close to people,put pressure on them and force them into making mistakes. Maddison is perfect for us.

Have read good things about Ibanez.

The rickets is a problematic habit though.

Roma would be asking a LOT more if they hadn’t signed NDicka and didn’t need to balance the books.

50m defender for 25m sounds like Levy

I don't know why people seem to think that just because a player hasn't played in a high pressing system they're unable to play it, I get that Maddison has had a few injuries but his most troublesome injury was his hip and he's since has surgery on it.

If people are going all the way with Ange ball then they should be for asking for new full backs seeing as Udogie and Porro have never played as inverted full backs for example.

Correct but I bet we see them play that way. Porro is definitely more equipped to play that way.

Both are young enough and fit enough to adapt. It will take a lot of coaching but I believe both can adapt the way they play. Maddison I do not think can adapt and is known for having a bad attitude I think after his transfer to Woolwich never materialised he threw a massive strop at the start of the 21/22 season which meant he got dropped by Rodgers.

The reality is that the likes of Skywalker and his mob just don't like you to put a counterargument across. If you question their spurious assertions, provide correction with facts, or post anything that even remotely questions their utter tosh, you get accused of being a Levy lover or a bot.

It's a text book internet bullying tactic used by teenagers. Say it/post it long enough and loud enough, bully out anyone who might have a difference of opinion, have enough people agree with you, often as many as one, and it suddenly becomes truth in their eyes.

I wonder if any of these plebs have ever read Orwell?

Even if they did, they'd never be self aware enough to see the parallels.
