The fact Reddit is populated largely by 18-25 year old yanks who've probably only been following the sport for a couple of years goes someway to explaining it, but even then it's embarrassing that that sort of opinion is so widespread amongst the fanbase, here being no exception.

I like many others believe he is still in the job because we don’t have any alternatives ( I don’t think Levy will hand the reigns over to Mason ).
The worry is - we could get sucked into a relegation battle , and even if that’s not the case he has taken us back 20 years to the pre Jol era of not knowing where our next win comes from .
I’m not going to start calling him out as a fraud but ive never seen a team make the same mistakes week after week and never look to correct it . The players are blowing out of their arses cos he hasn’t managed the squad well.Spence and Regi could have given Porro and Udogie some much needed rest . We don’t defend well as a team , we lose the ball high up and then our keeper has to make a save , we make a last ditch tackle or we concede a goal . We also don’t press well as a team (watch the scum or Liverpool this season ) , it’s 1 or 2 players at a time , we look like a very poorly coached outfit . Maybe when we get players back we will have an uptick in performances but 18 months on the general feeling around the stadium is apathy and sadly I can’t see that changing anytime soon . Maybe we’ve got our Tottenham back !!!

Honestly this is how I'm feeling right now.
If this is genuinely the level of idiot that is running this club I'm genuinely starting to question why I bother supporting Spurs at all, beyond some sort of pathetic addiction instilled in me when I was a child.
Why spend all my time watching and hoping this club to win when that bald prick glorified real-estate developer at the helm is so unfathomably incompetent and evidently has no intention of moving on?
Right now I find myself actively wanting us to lose games because at least it might force their hand to actually do something before it's too late and we're staring relegation in the face.
I was happy when Solanke scored yesterday, out of instinct, and because I love Dom and he deserves it for working so tirelessly all season. But I was just as happy when Isak made it 2-1.
