Not you, you moron.

The guy who you jumped in to defend.

Again, at 65 years old it's sad that you have not yet learned how to comprehend the written word.
I made no defence of him, neither do I care about the cause of your obnoxious foul mouthed rants.
My English comprehension is fine thanks, but your ability to communicate in an articulate manner is well short of any ability you believe you possess.
Have you got tourettes?

No idea whether Ange has some great negotiation tactic, had it written into his contract, or Levy is seeing the writing on the wall - but he seems to be making some progress at getting the board to get their wallets out. On the same basis, a lot of the press reports are just "more of the same" in linking us to everyone who can get a pair of football boots on.
Get some sales over the line will help and with his attack minded ethos maybe a punt at Silva wouldn't be a bad thing.
Even letting Son go to facilitate it might not be a bad move

We said the same thing with Jose and Conte but we see how that went. I agree with you but just saying that the reality is that the power tends to sit with the players and not the coach. Either it is the senior players teaming up against the coach, and/or it’s too difficult and costly to shift the players when you can just change out the coach.
First step should be to remove that players group

I don't like the idea of having a group of 'untouchables', so to speak. So the quicker Ange gets on top of that, the better. I hope that he is not restricted by the board in being allowed to coach and manage in his way. Otherwise, what's the point?

Nail. Head.

His management style now is well known. Even those who had to google him understand.

He won't take crap, will weed out unrest, and not giving a flying fuck about reputations. That's what got him here.

As you say, ... let him coach and manage.

It shouldn't be, but so few follow that example, you do have to wonder.

It's exactly how he set up Roar in Oz. As soon as he landed, the club brought in Dutch coaches, they set up an itinerary that aligned from first team to youth, emphasis on improving technical skills and keeping the whole process fresh and interesting.

I was coaching the nippers at the time, when we were given the itinerary. We spent a season coaching it into the kids, then took them to an interstate Football tournament. My kids were U10's, as I couldn't coach at a higher age group without badges, but I had a crop of smart, athletic kids, mixed, who absolutely loved the change and thrived under it.

We ended up playing against an U15 team and absolutely whacked them by 7! The kids weren't told they were older, just to go out, play the way we'd been teaching them, and have fun. They couldn't understand why they got applauded off the pitch until we told them they'd just annihilated a team with players up to 7 years older than them.

We should all know by now what he did with Roar, he essentially revolutionised Australian Football with them.

I pray he's successful. If he's successful he'll stay. If he stays he will revolutionise the way Spurs are run as a Football Club.

I would fully expect to see an upswing in our Academy, with more products coming from there that will slot into the squad, or be ready for loan moves sooner than they currently are.

I rate him this highly, and have for near 15 years. I honestly think he'll do for us what Wenger did for the filth.

If my u15 team had not literally destroyed an u10 team within 5 minutes I would have told them to find a different sport to play - the physical difference from u10 to U15 is absolutely huge - in our youth system a player is not allowed to play over 2 years above his age group for that very reason

I know, but that's here in a country where we've had Football established for well over a century.

It was a one off game where we were asked to essentially make up the numbers. They had absolutely no idea if the level my kids were playing at.

What you're describing is a fairly recent addition, as I always played levels above my age group as a kid. I was in the U16's at 12 years old, and in the senior squad at 15.

None of which really did me any favours, as I thought I was Billy Big Bollocks at the time, thinking I was too talented to not make it. My work ethic was terrible at the time, so I was yet another of those youngsters who thought talent alone was enough.

It wasn't. It wasn't until I was in my mid 20's that I actually matured enough to appreciate that it's 25%talent, 75% application, but by then it was far too late for me.

Ange seems to have the midas touch for bringing in signings and they become successful. I'd say better than two thirds if I were to put a number to it. Can he reproduce this at Spurs? I suppose it depends on how well scouted the players database has. I think Ange will identify the attributes in a player he needs and then players to that trait are identified. Then he does the man-management of getting the transfer over the line as he usually has a long chat with them person to person to understand their personality. He always stresses that players are not machines but are humans.

We'll be fine, Steve Hitchen implemented a top notch scouting database
