The speculation is that, among other things, everyone keeps saying no lol
Rubbish. No manager of any degree of ambition would decline an offer.
Actually I would say most wouldn't.

A lot of aussiesThe morons on social media are still defending this amateur. He has a spell in some people still
I was talking about me hero worshipping you , ya sexy minxDude we're not going to agree on this, it's cool
I just think the idea to sack this dude (which he more than deserves by the way) to replace him with a less experienced dude in a see what happens and roll the dice scenario is just pure desperation.
I would honestly rather Sean Dyche or Big Same came in for a few months than Ryan Fucking Mason, Christ sake and the thought of those managers in charge fill me with dread!
It's not even hero worship, Ange is fucking shite, I was wrong about him, happy to admit that but Mason can fuck off and anyone who think that's a good idea can get in the bin![]()
Nah - it’s naive and childish excitement - like getting a new toy.Same with players btw. It's so weird that every new song we introduce is always for a player even if he just arrived. Most songs we sing should be about our club.
£11.7m maybe? He’s got a 4 year deal and it’s going to cost 12 million to sack him.
I think the only risk with Mason would be his plan was always to do what Dier and Kane told him to, but they’re not here.I honestly think we'd be better defensively under Mason.
It's hard to see it get any worse than this.
We might need one of them at this rate and I am not even kidding lol.Dude we're not going to agree on this, it's cool

Hire someone who is then.
You always do this; demand that fans explicitly state who the new manager should be or which player needs to be purchased. You do it to strawman discussions about Levy or discussions about Ange.
We are losing *every* fucking game of football at the moment. Mason cannot empirically do worse. But, if he is that shit, then our cutting edge football operation should have a fucking plan in place to install someone who can string together a few wins.
That’s not an especially high bar to expect we clear.
Spot on. God I would cringe whenever you'd hear that "Postecoglou" song emanate from the south stand. Just lost three on the bounce, we go 1-nil up to Ipswich or whoever and those sheep are straight back to bleating his song again. Obviously then we go on to fail to win the game. This fanbase deserves everything it gets.I dont blame people on here, we're all just shouting into the void. I do blame the idiots in the stadium singing his name long after it was obvious he was a complete bluffer. They are partially responsible for buying him time and giving Levy a get out. I dont think managers should have songs until they've seriously improved us at the very least.
Everything seems to be being hedged on the players coming back and the semi against the dippers.Surely there must be a Plan B from Levy - he’s normally very trigger happy - someone lined up for next season? The worry is what happens if don’t win a few more once the injured players are back.
Also, didn’t Levy say he wanted to go with a ‘continental’ structure (ie, change coats every few two years or so) - this was before he employed Ange on a long contract, mind you.Fair on you mate for getting a source but it sounds like conjecture:
"It is also worth noting that sacking him could cost the club £12million and it is very unlike Spurs to part ways with such funds unless it is absolutely necessary."
ie, guesswork based on his salary.
Knowing Levy, and given the fact he'll have known the average length of a manager at Spurs is about 18 months, I'd be shocked if he didn't stipulate any payout would be far lower than the rest of his contract.
Gold and his cronies being briefed as we speakI wonder what day / time he'll get his now weekly vote of confidence from the board
So what you’re saying is, Ange did a better job at Celtic? These are the stats that removed the wool from my eyes , was shocked when I saw them to be honest. The hype had him painted as all conquering.
Outside of Celtic (comparisons below), a sub 50% win rate is just his thing.
Brisbane Roar: 50%
Melbourne Victory: 47%
Australia: 45%
Yokohama: 49%
Celtic :73%
Tottenham: 49%
Some comparisons:
Pochettino at Spurs:54%
Tim Sherwood: 50%
The Nuno "disaster" at Spurs: 47%
Brendan Rodgers at Celtic: 70 and 72%
Neil Lennon at Celtic: 70%
Ange inners: What medication are you being prescribed? I'd love to get my hands on some.
