Remember during Conte's only off-season when he had that fitness Italian coach (was the one who passed away?) who ran our players to the ground from the intense training. I don't remember our players falling during that season with hamstrings as we have now. It seems to me there is a way to up players fitness without causing injuries.

“Sources familiar with the situation, who asked to remain anonymous to protect relationships, say that the medical staff had reservations about Micky Van de Ven’s readiness to play vs Chelsea. But nevertheless, he started the match. The club insist he was ready but the plan had only been to play him for around 60 minutes. Due to circumstances during the match, he ended up playing for 79 minutes.”

Ange admitted this tbf. Sounds like they didn't want him to start and almost certainly didn't want him to play more then 60 minutes but Ange decided otherwise.

We don’t actually need 40 points, that’s a myth!!
A throwback to the good old days of 22 teams.
It’s funny how these things stick around in popular culture though.

I think this century only 1 team has needed more than 40 points to stay up!! That’s 25 years & 75 teams.

So Ipswich or Leicester would really have to go on some run to get to 40 points. If they get to 35 points they are giving themselves a chance.

Statistics and history tell you that it’s not going to happen!

Mid thirties is the new 40!!!

Plenty of people on here and twitter have said they would welcome spurs to be relegated over the past few years.
Well look where we are now! I hope they are happy!!!! I wonder what they are saying now. Tempting fate and all that.
Getting less than 40 points is embarrassing, even if it doesn't send you down.

looks like people internally and turning on Ange.
The spell is finally broken.

It's a bit like Shallow Hal. All of a sudden people can see what he's really like.

That guy Scott got fired in August. He's not internal anymore.

But the guy was at Spurs for 20 years, if he didn't get properly paid off when they gave him the boot, who can blame him for taking the opportunity to make some money off click-bait?

The club's lack of activity in the transfer market is probably where eyes should be looking right now but whatever, people need news to consume. Give them the news they want.

It's a shame this injury crisis hit at such a key time, that I think is the main reason why the club are so behind him and haven't got rid of him yet which I feel is fair, reckon he has handled the crisis pretty badly and panicked but I think the club are banking on the fact that many players will return over the next few weeks and judge him how he handles the last few matches with the returnees.

Sess took that burden on for the whole team...
