Surely that's more on the medical team? Which is probably why we're currently having a massive shuffle? The same medical team that Conte and Mourinho have questioned?
“But the one thing I’ve never done, and I won’t do in my whole career, is compromise the football team we want to be because we are not quite ready to be there. I’d rather keep going at the pace we are going and it means we are going to have some casualties along the way.”-Ange Postecoglou

Casualties??? meaning relegation???

That post is an indictment on you and your mate Ange ....

Look closely and tell me if you see Bournemouth ..... huh? You don't?

After having 10 injuries, where are they now? Give me a shot of the current table.

When did they get those injuries? Did they get them after 12 games and have they been playing for 3 months in 4 competitions in an injury crisis? Or has it been a few weeks max and they are out of everything except the league?

First half good, 2nd half not so sure. Players fitness probably played a part. Defensively we don't really look good enough, no surprise one of their goals came from Porro being caught up the pitch.

Positive win though.

2nd half wasn't great mainly because we were gassed out and had no subs to bring on, when people dismiss the injury crisis this is exactly the reason why.

Also as I said in the match thread we are not a smart team at all, we don't do any shithousery or slow the game down, our players don't dive or fall on the ball and take the sting out the match.

Tbh the players need to just start doing it. The manager might not like it but if players only ever did what managers want nobody would ever score wonder goals.

Minor tweaks to Ange ball, he doesn't need to be this stubborn...his play is too honest, you can see why people say he's naive tbh.

Funny thing is if he models himself on Pep he would actually see a lot of improvements in his philosophy and up the shithousery, if we were a team that did that then they'd be much less jeopardy in our matches.

Exactly. To go there and get a result like that without them just shows the ceiling of this project.
No it doesn’t lol. There have been games before where teams pull off crazy results like that, you know…?

And even if that’d be the case, why haven’t we pulled off results like that since then? We missed our best CB pairing for a good chunk of the season sure, but the team that started that game against City was pretty much available until recently.

If he's short in numbers and players aren't getting back quickly, Ange needs to cut down the intensity in games. He can't be setting up the team to be on full throttle from minute one to final whistle while attacking and defending the entire pitch all the time.

It's an evil cycle of trying to contain opponents with frantic press because presumably we lack the better personnel but when we still conceded, we lost more energy at the same time and conceded more as a result. The calmness knowing we can deal with attacks from the earlier part of the season has all but evaporated.

I questioned why our players are always so tired because they are supposedly professional athletes. They can't be dropping like flies at final whistle in almost every games - we are not playing 120 minutes.

Not a crazy result when we had just beaten them in the Cup as well tho is it?

Took points off them in Ange's first season too

Yeah you're probably right but I'll cut him some slack tonight - I think the plan was to blow them away in the first half then conserve energy in the 2nd which is what kinda happened, but owing to what you said I think if we could have subbed on Biss/Sarr/Solanke/Johnson or whoever we wouldn't have been under the cosh so much in the 2nd and would have managed the game a bit better.

I think the signs we can see in these leaks are that there is deep division internal at the club and that there are probably some elements who want to see him pushed out.

Who is leaking “No, the injury crisis doesn’t excuse him, his methods helped cause the injury crisis” stories?

Someone who’s gone? Or someone still within the club who wants for force the issue?
Or, in true media style, it's all made up.
