Did I actually just read that the City result should be ignored because they had an injury crisis and Haaland missed 2 chances
This thread is cooked man
Legitimate reasons my man.
Plus Pep is going through some home life issues and had recently started the Adkins diet and is going Keto at the same time so his mind and body were totally fucked that night.
He was ultimately confused by the fact the Harry Kane team turned up without Harry Kane. WTAF.
It’s amazing we didn’t win 10-0 when you take everything into account.
That fucking Vicario bloke fracturing his foot and playing on too. Twat.
Frauds the lot of them.
Ange out!!! Total wasteman!!
Poor Man City with their state sponsored football team, missing a couple of players having to play world class replacements instead, must be so tough having a to rotate a group of players who've won 4 leagues b2b![]()
Spot on.
They are all getting old now as well. Not fair asking them to play all these games when other teams and their players get to stay at home.
They probably deserve a bonus point or 3 to help them out a bit. Level the playing field you know.

Oh no not the meaningless contextless xG stats, they must be really worried. It’s not like they have actual top class strikers and will likely continue to over perform on metrics.
Fucking misuse of stats.
I said it should be ignored when talking about this magic ceiling on Ange because Man City were in the worst form in 5 years and had a massive injury crisis.Did I actually just read that the City result should be ignored because they had an injury crisis and Haaland missed 2 chances

I have no problem people including:
Everton
Brentford
Villa
Southampton
Man Utd
West Ham
But with this magical Ange Ceiling People like to ignore
Woolwich
Newcastle
Brighton
Luton
Palace
The fact is we can cherry pick what ever way your opinion is but the fact is we struggled with Hoffenheim last night a team that also has a lot of injuries but have only won 4 league games this season.
We had 14 player including Reguilon, Spence and Kinsky unavailable. Hoffenheim had 9 and you even admited we struggled with them second half. They made adjustments and were creating overloads. We beat Hoffenheim because we have better players not because we are the better team. On top of that Ange did not make a single tactical tweak to deal with there press we continued to play out from the back.Poor Man City had a massive injury crisis despite us missing Romero, VDV and Bentancur, brilliant in the same match, okay then.
Man City were in the worst form they've had but I didn't see anyone else turn City over att their own gaffe like that so...
And yet last night you acknowledged that we struggled last night yet don't take into account our injury crisis which is far worse than what Man City had.
Have a day off mate.

Now show the only thing that ever matters in football - POINTS.
Results, results, results. We weren't doing well results wise pre injuries and we're not doing well results wise post injuries.
You and BC can wank to xG tables and graphs all you want, points mean prizes, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
Then we need to write off judging him for the rest of the season because we will have injuries the rest of the season. We struggled with them in the 2nd half, they struggled with us in the first half and yes teams with better players normally beat teams with lesser players, I don't get your point.
I don't think this match should be indicative of our manager in any case, there are criticisms with the way we handled the 2nd half but let's cut some slack because of the personnel we had missing and the fact that the players were dead on their feet.
I can take constructive criticism but you're just doing way too much.
Then we need to write off judging him for the rest of the season because we will have injuries the rest of the season.
Lets cherry pick which games we judge him on to only the ones he has won.
Lets just wait and judge him when he gets a perfect storm and the team is allowed to press like mad men again and get a big win.
Lets put our fingers in our ears and pretend we are not just 8 points above the relegation zone because Ange Postecoglou has had too many injuries. That does not buy in that to the narrative that we have a coach that has rewrote the way football is played. That this genius has 1 more point than AVB did when he got sacked. The genius that has managed 3 more losses than either Mourinho or Conte.
I am saying that if you are one of the fans that talk about his ceiling that game should be ignored. The home game in the Carabou Cup cup was a much better win even though we lost Van der Ven that day. Taking a game where City were in the worst form they have been in under Pep and had an injury crisis means it should be held as an outlier in the data..
Hold up??, you are the one that just said that we can't judge Man City because they have an injury crisis and yet you're out here judging Ange for the same thing albeit worse, what?
This debate stemmed from the fact that you tried to downplay our win against City, no one is bigging up our record in the other matches, you're the one who is moving the goalposts of the initial argument about that particular isolated match against City, not anyone else.
You guys should learn to be a bit more objective in your appraisal because you end up tying yourself in knots and speak a load of shite.
He forgets his points when he’s binned but still charges back to post as soon as he’s allowed back in because someone has to hold people who post on a chat forum accountable for the performance of the players on the pitch.I think he legit forgets his own arguments when he gets binned, he is such a nonsense.
I thought ONLY POINTS MATTER

There is plenty to say was great about the away performance:
1. Ange adapted to the opposition.
2. Kulu was incredible
3. Vicario was incredible even with a broken ankle.
4. Like many of our big wins Madders was incredible in midfield.
The problem I have with people saying it is our ceiling performance under Ange is that is a one off win with many off setting circumstances that means we should ignore this as our ceiling.
It wasn’t a one off win if you yourself are saying the previous time we beat them was a better performanceI am saying that if you are one of the fans that talk about his ceiling that game should be ignored. Then add that one but we still are cherry picking I still feel the win is more an anomaly point in the data which distorts the picture but that is my opinion I will stop arguing because it is Matt Hayes original point. It wasn’t a one off win if you yourself are saying the previous time we beat them was a better performance
